How to choose pencils. Advice to parents.
The color of the pencil depends on the color pigment introduced into the lead during production. These pigments may contain heavy metal salts. To keep your baby safe from cadmium or lead, pay close attention to the packaging. Look for the CE letters on it, which confirm that the pencils meet the European quality standard and have passed all safety tests. The correct pencils are made from softwood and smell like wood, not solvents.
Estimate the lead diameter. It is desirable that it be 3 millimeters. This indicates that the lead is well centered and resistant to stress. There are two types of lead. Waxes can contain harmful organic solvents. Water-soluble leads are safer. You can understand which copy is in front of you by wetting a sheet of paper with water and drawing a line on it. The wax crayon will leave a barely visible mark. Water soluble - clear line.
High-quality pencils undergo seven-layer staining. Therefore, the seam from gluing wood is not noticeable on them. Advice to young parents! It is better to give triangular pencils to children under three years old. They develop fine motor skills of the fingers well.

14. Such pencils are fashionable to use instead of a bookmark.
But we went further. We connected them together with glue.

15. Added small paper flowers and leaves. And now, the collective panel of paper pencils is ready.

Thank you for the attention! We will be glad that our idea is useful.

Valentina Sharova

For the manufacture of bookmarks - pencil take colored paper colored on one side. We turn the rectangle 8 x 20 cm over with the white side and bend a thin strip, we get a red strip on white).

Fold the upper part of the strip in half and lightly outline the center line (bend line).

On the colored side, bend one triangle on one side and the second triangle on the other side to the center line.

We bend the triangle again to the center line, it becomes even narrower and longer. On the other hand, exactly the same.

We turn it over, bend the strip up, iron the bend line well.

We turn over. We fold a strip of paper to the center, on the other side in the same way.

Putting the strip in the pocket, so as not to unfold.

At the bottom it keeps tight, but at the top it opens slightly, you can glue it a little.

Bookmark - the pencil is ready! Studying in a circle "Paper fantasies", the guys and I make them with great pleasure, and the guys are happy to give bookmarks to friends and parents!
