On April 15, 2015, the branch held a meeting of excellent students, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War... The head of the personnel training department of the Far Eastern Customs Administration V.M. Perepechina, branch management, teachers, customs officials, different years graduated from our university with honors, as well as the parents of students - excellent students.
At the meeting, first of all, those students were honored who study at least five semesters only excellently. From year to year the number of excellent students in the branch is growing: so, 2 years ago there were 17 of them, last year - 26, and today - already 30.
The meeting was opened by the deputy director for social and educational work V.M. Sleptsov. Deputy Director for educational work V.P. Shevkunova in her welcome speech noted that excellent students are really the pride of the university. Graduates of the branch who graduated from the university with honors, have established themselves in the service in the customs authorities, create a positive image of the PTA, adequately represent the branch at the level of other higher educational institutions and internationally. This is a huge merit not only of the students themselves, but also of the faculty of the branch. Parents deserve great gratitude, whose merits in raising children can hardly be overestimated. V.P. Shevkunova expressed confidence that excellent students will not continue to reduce the pace they have gained in their studies, scientific, social and cultural-creative activities.
Head of the Personnel Training Department, DVTU V.M. Perepechina congratulated the participants of the rally on behalf of the leadership of the Far Eastern Customs Administration, gave examples of excellent service in the customs authorities of our graduates and noted that excellent knowledge is the key to successful service and career growth. She wished the participants of the meeting to keep the momentum gained in acquiring knowledge.
The head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law V.G. Balkova, noting that study is hard work, sometimes requiring refusal of temptations in Everyday life for the sake of gaining knowledge. Our excellent students show an example of such work, their achievements are an example for other students.
The head of the Faculty of Law, a graduate of the Faculty of Law in 2002 I.V. Chepurnaya. She noted that getting a high level of knowledge and being able to apply it in practice is not an easy task. Only the desire to win, diligence and hard work allow you to achieve desired result... The branch has everything the necessary conditions to get a quality education, and this must be used wisely.
The words of parental advice to the students came from Evgenia Vladimirovna Popovich - the mother of Aleksey Popovich, an excellent student. On behalf of all parents, she expressed her deep gratitude to the teaching staff, the leadership of the university and the dean's offices for the excellent conditions for teaching children.
An excellent student, student of the 231st study group, Yulia Shulga, on behalf of all students, sincerely thanked the leadership of the university, the teaching staff for helping students achieve excellent results in their studies, social life of the Academy, in sports and other areas of activity. According to her, an excellent student is more than just student status. This is a responsibility - and not to others, not to parents, not to teachers, but first of all to oneself.
