Each of us can take an active part in the life of our country. For this, only desire is needed. Unfortunately, the problem of today's youth is that most of its representatives do not want to take any part in the life of their city, their country. In other words, young people are passive. But it is she who is the force that can affect life. If everyone contributes to a public cause, then this can significantly affect the future of their country. Indeed, in our country, everyone can calmly express their opinion, offer their ideas, and this will all be taken into account by the state. But you need to remember that you need to take an active part in this. That is, to participate in any youth events that will contribute to the further development of the country and their own well-being. For example, in our city, meetings of the most active youth are regularly held. At these meetings, everyone can express their thoughts about the future of our city, express some of their ideas, suggest something that can improve life native land... Many times at such meetings it was said that children do not have ice hockey rinks in their yards. Look now, such skating rinks exist in all microdistricts of the city. Children who are actively involved in this sport have a place to fully realize themselves.

And the teachers themselves often make mistakes, which are written in any book on the classroom manual - they begin a conversation with parents with complaints and problems, “pour out” all the negativity on them and wait for understanding. But with such an "attack on their children" you can get the answer: "My child is the best, you put things in order at your school." Naturally, in such a situation, contact with the parents will be lost and it will take a lot of effort to establish cooperation with this family.

In my work as a class teacher, I always adhere to this rule - to call parents to school only when it is impossible to solve the problem without their intervention. And such situations, believe me, are not so many. Of course, calling parents and informing them about the “pranks” of their children is necessary, sometimes simply necessary, but a call to school should be a “capital punishment”, otherwise it will soon become commonplace for them and lose the educational effect on which we always so hopefully.

The ideal situation is that you know in advance that next year you will get the fifth grade. It is much easier to ensure continuity of requirements and work with parents here. How can I do that? Attending joint parent-child holidays, speaking at a parent meeting and introducing you as a future class teacher as a primary school teacher, introducing parents to your requirements and wishes, studying the personal affairs of students.

But if you were unlucky and you learned about your appointment as a homeroom teacher in the fifth grade only at the end of August, then you need to build your work differently.

Step one. You should not postpone meeting your parents until the first meeting, which traditionally takes place only at the end of the first quarter. Receiving a new class, not only the fifth one, I start to work according to the program “The first acquaintance with the student's family” that I have created. In August, I organize visits to the families of students in my class, i.e. I systematically bypass everyone. This allows you to get to know the student himself, to understand the way of life of his family, his traditions and customs, spiritual values, the style of communication between parents and children. In addition, such visits have a positive effect on the nature of the relationship between the teacher and the parents. It is important to note that the study of student families should involve further parental education and intervention.

Before the initial visit to families, I practiced distributing questionnaires to students, but this form of work was not so effective. In addition, it did not represent an opportunity to see the conditions of family upbringing with my own eyes and get to know all the parents. In addition, with personal contact, there is a chance to interest parents and quickly find a common language with them.

Step two. In order to captivate children, motivate them and their parents to work together, the new school year needs to start brightly!
