If, at a given distance, the text of Internet resources is difficult for you to see, or by the end of the day you began to understand it poorly, then it is better to zoom in on the page or the text itself, and not "poke your nose" at the monitor screen. There are several options for changing the scale of the displayed information on web resources. Let's consider the available options.
To zoom in on a page to improve readability using the Firefox Internet browser menu, you need to:
Launch the browser, open the menu (the icon with three horizontal lines located one under the other, in the upper right corner of the window). At the very top of the menu window, you can see the zoom control panel. Click on the plus sign, the scale increases, by minus, and decreases accordingly. The percentages in the middle show the size of the displayed objects on the internet portal. By clicking on these numbers, the size will return to the standard one hundred percent.

To change the scale of the page using combinations on the keyboard, while on a certain site, press and hold the "Ctrl" key and at the same time press the "+" button on the keyboard of a personal computer to increase the page size, the "-" button to reduce it, and the number "0" will reset its value to default. Also, instead of the "plus" and "minus" buttons, you can use the wheel on the computer mouse, rotating it forward, while holding down the "Ctrl" button you will increase the scale, back, decrease it.

If you need to change the font size in the text of any Internet resource, then for this you need to launch a web browser, press the "Alt" button on the keyboard. You will see the traditional Firefox browser menu bar at the top of the window. We click on the item "View", then move the cursor over the sub-item "Scale" and put a tick in front of the "Text only" function.
Now, doing all those actions that you performed to change the scale of the Internet resource, they will change the scale of the text part of the web page.
In order to return to resizing the site as a whole, you need to press the "Alt" button again, select "View" - "Scale" and uncheck the "Text only" item.
Also, the Mozilla browser has the function of setting the minimum font of the text part of the Internet site. Whenever you open a web page, Firefox will resize the text within the minimum size you set. In order to set the minimum text size, you must follow the instructions in the next picture below.
If you do not want to change the scale every time you start or when switching to another Internet resource, you can download a special browser add-on that will do it for you. This extension is called "NoSquint Plus".
In order to install it you need:
Open the Mozilla search engine, go to the browser menu, select the "Add-ons" menu item.
In the window that opens, in the search line, enter the name of the extension "NoSquint Plus", click on the search (the magnifying glass icon to the right of the search window). At the end of the search, select the desired extension, and to the right of it, click the "Install" button.
