It turned out that in all the stores available to me, such a product "has not yet been delivered." Well, what can I do, I had to remember where my arms grow from and arm myself knitting needles... I chose a rather simple pattern, not very dense and not very openwork, in general, for the April windy weather, just right.

So, in my work I used stocking needles No. 1.5 (you can knit on circular needles, as you like), yarn "Pekhorka successful", color "violet", it took about half a skein of yarn 250 m long, weighing 100 g, composition 50% wool, 50% pan bulky.

To begin with, as usual, it is necessary to connect the sample with the main pattern measuring 10 * 10 cm. Then it must be washed and dried. Measure the density of the knit. I got it equal to 2.5.

Next, you need to take measurements (my princess is 2 years 9 months old, head circumference 49 cm), calculate the required number of loops: 49 * 2.5 = 122.5 loops. The rapport of the pattern I have chosen is 7 loops, so we round the number so that it is divisible by 7, the closest value is 126 loops.

Well, we have finished with mathematics, we proceed to the most entertaining.
We collect on the knitting needles the estimated number of loops + one connecting one (that is, there should be 127 loops on the knitting needles). We distribute them on 4 knitting needles.

We close the knitting in a circle like this: we throw the first loop from the left knitting needle onto the right knitting needle, with the left knitting needle we pry the last dialed loop from below.
And remove it from the left knitting needle.
