white bells
In my garden
On a green stem
Hiding in the shade.

In early spring, in the shady corners of the forest, between two large leaves, a stalk appears, strewn with delicate, white pearls, fragrant with a uniquely delicate aroma. Lilies of the valley are a symbol of purity, tenderness, modesty and sincerity of feelings. By giving a bunch of lilies of the valley, we express our feelings of care, friendship, fidelity and love for our loved ones.

The forest turns black, awakened with warmth,
Embraced by spring dampness.
And on the strings of pearls
Everyone trembles from the wind.

Buds round bells
Still closed and tight
But the sun opens the corollas
At the bluebells of spring.

Nature carefully swaddled,
Wrapped up in a wide sheet
A flower grows in the wilderness untouched,
Cool, fragile and fragrant.

The forest languishes in early spring,
And all the happy longing
And all your fragrance
He gave to the bitter flower.

There are many legends and legends about the origin of the lily of the valley.
One of them says that lilies of the valley are the beads of a crumbling necklace of Snow White, who got lost in the forest.

Another, about how from the lips of a mermaid in love, when she laughed with happiness, sparkling pearls fell, which, touching the ground, sprouted with snow-white flowers.

An old Russian legend connects the appearance of the lily of the valley with the sea princess Magus. The tears of the princess, saddened by the fact that the young man Sadko gave his heart to the earthly girl Lyubava, fell to the ground, sprouted into a beautiful and delicate flower - a symbol of purity, love and sadness.

lily of the valley flowers, crocheted- a beautiful, cozy element of home decor. As you know, lilies of the valley are listed in the Red Book, and it is forbidden to tear them. But they look so gentle and radiate such a unique aroma that many people, defying the law, bring at least one bouquet to their homes.

To remain a law-abiding citizen and be able to admire the flowers of the lily of the valley, we will crochet them with our own hands. Knitting lilies of the valley itself is not at all a difficult task, although it is quite laborious. Even beginner needlewomen can easily cope with the task without any problems. The main thing is patience good mood and love for needlework. I wish you creative inspiration!

Step by step process:

Flower knitting:
Let's start knitting a bouquet of lilies of the valley with a white yarn flower
Flower scheme:

1 row: in the joint venture for lifting we knit 3VP and 9SN

After that, we tighten the joint venture and complete the SS

2 row: for lifting we knit 2VP, 1SN - we do not knit to the end and another 1SSN, i.e. you should get 2dc with a common top, and sc in the base loop

Then again we knit * 2 dc with a common top and sc into the base loop *, and so on in a circle to the end, we complete the sl-st - knitting should be rounded inwards and as a result you get a bud

3 row: for pico (small petals) we knit * 4CH, connect the SS, then RLS, again SS *, and so we continue in a circle, you should get 5 small petals

And in order to knit small flower buds, the 3rd row does not need to be knitted, i.e. they will be without small petals (pico)

Making stamens:
Now let's start making stamens. I suggest 2 ways (at your discretion)
1 way: take a thin copper wire (0.5 mm) 20 cm long, string 3 yellow beads. Between them, you can add beads, or you can make stamens completely from beads

2 way: from yellow yarn we knit a chain of 10ch

Now we take a copper thin wire (0.5 mm) 20 cm long and knit it into a chain of 10VP RLS

Bend the wire in half and twist

flower assembly:
We place the finished stamen in the center of the flower, as shown in the photo.

We wind the white yarn tightly on the wire, starting from the bud to the stamen and back.

Now we turn the flower bud so that the stamen is in the center, we crochet the rest of the white yarn and wind it on the wire at the base of the flower

With green yarn we tightly wind the wire from the bud to the end - we get a small stalk with lily of the valley

For the main stalk with lilies of the valley, I knitted 4 small flower buds and 5 large ones.

Leaf knitting:
Now we start knitting 2 large wide leaves from green yarn
Leaf layout:

First we knit a chain of 45VP

1 row: we knit in a chain, starting with 3VP - this will be the lower part of the leaf: 8СБН, 5PS, 5СН, 4СС2Н, 2СС3Н - knitted to the middle of the chain and go further to the top of the leaf 4СС2Н, 5СН, 5PS, 5СБН

We continue to knit in the same way on the other side of the chain

Rows 2 and 3 are knitted in the same way as the first row.

4 row: take copper wire(diameter - 1mm) length along the perimeter of the leaf and even more, and we knit RLS along the edge of the leaf, starting from the stalk - we do this so that the leaf stands stably

Lily of the valley assembly:
Advice: before collecting lily of the valley flowers-buds on the main stem, I advise you to sprinkle the flowers and leaves with a starch solution, and iron only the leaves through gauze or cloth

List and consider a huge variety knitted patterns are endless. The thing is that this is a whole universe in which only very experienced masters are well versed. Among all existing patterns, drawings, reliefs and ornaments, the most delicate and beautiful is openwork pattern.

Laces are most suitable for making magnificent elegant dresses with light cotton yarn. summer tops, skirts, sundresses and dresses. Its prominent and important place among the openwork patterns is occupied by a magnificent pattern called "Lilies of the Valley". In this lesson, we will consider the technique and pattern with which needlewomen knit products with an ornament called "Lilies of the Valley".

Openwork patterns of this type can be used to decorate the canvas. In this case, the full element of the Lily of the Valley pattern is placed in the center of the canvas in the form of a vertical strip. To do this, the Lily of the Valley pattern is knitted over so many vertical rows (P).

The scheme of the Lily of the Valley pattern is quite complicated, so only a very experienced needlewoman can embody it on the canvas.

As you probably noticed, the lily of the valley pattern consists only of odd facial rows. All purl Rs are made according to the pattern. the only vertical stripe, associated with the purpose of decorating the canvas with Lilies of the valley, looks like this.

Such stripes with lilies of the valley are very often placed in front in the center of the shelf and on the sleeves.
Some craftswomen prefer to put three stripes of the Lily of the Valley pattern on the shelf, and it looks very stylish.

As you can see from the photo, the openwork pattern with Lily of the Valley needles is extremely delicate and airy. It is used not only to decorate clothes, but also on various interior items or accessories, such as pillowcases for pillows or a computer case. To make a more detailed explanation, consider another diagram that has cells.

The diagrams above have some minor differences in the location of the hinges and their symbol, but that doesn't matter. It is important for us to understand the meaning of the empty cells in the second diagram. These empty cells are not taken into account in the work. They appear on the diagram because the number of units changes due to the presence of crochets, as well as loops that are knitted with knitting needles several pieces together. Simply put, there are no loops in the cells because there are additions and subtractions due to yarns and loops tied together.

In order not to make mistakes in the process of knitting, it is necessary to read the diagram correctly, not taking into account the presence of free unfilled cells in it. Empty cells should simply be skipped, and knit only those that have badges. We can say that free cells in the pattern are necessary in order to create symmetry.

Patterns of such complexity with knitting needles are quite difficult to perform, and doing this better themes of you who have perseverance and attention. In order to navigate the diagram in the process of work, you can use a special ruler with a slot, or adapt a sheet of paper for this. Just cut out a strip in a piece of paper, and apply it to a specific section of the circuit. When taking a break in knitting, be sure to mark the number of the last row on paper. This will also help you keep track of your knitting. To knit such a delicate and airy pattern, you need to purchase very high-quality thin threads, as well as number two knitting needles. Mixed yarn is best, which contains acrylic and viscose, approximately fifty percent each.

Knitted top with lily of the valley pattern

Top size forty-two is knitted from mixed yarn with knitting needles number three according to the pattern below.
Lily of the valley knitting is done with knitting needles according to the pattern from the first to the forty-eighth P, after which it is necessary to return to the fifteenth P to the forty-eighth. Having knitted thirty-four centimeters (cm) from the type-setting R, it is necessary to close the loops of the armhole. After completing sixteen cm, close thirty P to cut the neck of the front shelf. Further, both parts of the shelf are performed separately. At the same time, you need to close the P slope of the shoulder. First, we close seven units, then three times seven Ps through a row. When the front and back are connected according to the pattern, it is necessary to complete the shoulder and side seams. Then we collect loops around the armhole, and knit five rows in a circle. Having finished knitting these strips, we bend them, and sew them to the armhole. At the end, P is typed along the neck, and the top collar is eleven cm high. Then all the loops of the last P are closed. We offer you another option for a top made of white yarn, patterned"Lilies of the valley". This top is made of cotton threads with a Lily of the Valley pattern, but according to a different pattern.

Description of knitting lilies of the valley

I imposed flowers and buds according to the scheme
The petal is knitted like this: in 1 loop - 1 tbsp. single crochet, 1 tbsp. with 1 crochet, 1 column with 2 crochets. In the next loop - 1 tbsp. with 2 crochets, 1 tbsp. with 1 yarn, 1 tbsp. without a crochet.

I attached a wire to each flower and bud and wrapped it with floral tape (be sure to make several wraps under the flower itself so that its head does not droop), wrap it tightly.

lily of the valley leaves

Knit according to the pattern in straight and reverse rows. Instead of the first double crochet in each row, knit 2 ch. rise.

Sheet - I tied a 0.75 crochet along the edge, at the same time tied a wire to maintain shape.
Leave a long end of the wire to form the stem.

Lily of the valley formation

I took 2 buds, placing them at different levels and began to wind them up, after a short interval I turned on the flower itself and continued to wind it up. So it continued until the last flower.
I took the prepared sheet and also tied it to the already finished branch with flowers.
To prevent the leaf from falling, I attached it closer to the top of the flower with a wire to the main branch.
I connected all the finished branches with leaves together and also tied them to each other. Tied a bow.
And I like how it turned out)) If you take a thinner thread, you get a wonderful brooch, or you can form a wreath for the bride.
