Dresses, crocheted, look gentle and delicate. If they are made from fine yarn, they will become ideal clothes in the hot summer. Summer dress knitted dress Can be used both everyday and evening. For the last option, if the cut does not provide for it, it is enough to replace a simple thread with yarn with lurex. Let's look at some ways to crochet a summer dress.

Elegant crocheted dress with patterns and description

The finished product will be size 38-40

What do we need need to prepare:

  • 4 skeins of Lanabel Faisan Sello Dorado cream-colored yarn;
  • hook No. 4

You should start knitting a summer dress from the top part, namely the bodice. First, we cast on 18 chain stitches, and then we knit one row in one direction, and the second in the opposite direction. Rows with an odd number are performed with double stitches, and rows with an even number - with a half-column with a double stitch. In each odd row, select the center loop and make 5 dc. In this way we knit 14 rows according to the pattern. We connect both parts to each other with two double crochet stitches.

Let's move on to making the bottom part of the product. We will knit in a fancy pattern in circular rows. The diagram will show you how to make a fantasy pattern. We collect a chain of 118 air. pet., after which we close it in a circle. We carry out the fantasy pattern until its length reaches 28 cm, after which we begin to decrease the loops. To do this, we first mark the side line with yarn of a different color, and then every four rows we remove one loop in a section 5 centimeters long from the edge, taking into account the width. You should also decrease the stitches on the sides by knitting 4 double crochets instead of five. In the last 10 rows we decrease all the air loops, and at a height of 62 cm we finish the work.

The parts are ready, all that remains is assembly. We sew the bodice to the bottom, and then we tie the bottom and back with 3 stitches with nak. and one without cash. For straps we collect 2 chains out of hundreds air loops(length approximately 30 cm) and knit them with a single crochet. Sew the finished straps to the top of the bodice cups and the back of the dress.

After 13 rows from the start of work, we divide the loops into 4 parts - for the sleeves, front and back. To create armholes, you need to knit 18 air stitches between the front and back. pet. We continue knitting according to pattern 2

Thanks to the pattern, we will get fit and expansion in those places where they are needed. When the work is completed, tie the edges of the sleeves with a border according to the drawing in diagram 3

Crochet a summer dress with a deep neckline

Description corresponds to clothing size 44

We will need:

  • 500 g of white yarn, consisting of 100% cotton;
  • hook No. 1,2

The top of the dress is decorated with individual motifs, in the center of which is a flower. On the pattern they are shown in a checkerboard pattern, and are connected in the last row of knitting each of them. Diagram 1 shows in detail how to perform the motives. To form the armholes and the straight edge of the bottom, we will need triangular motifs, which represent half of the main one. We will carry them out according to Scheme 2.

Before starting knitting, we traditionally make a pattern based on our measurements. Figure 1 shows the dimensions of the dress details and how the motifs should be arranged.

First you need to knit a sample of the motif and compare it with the drawing. It may need to be redone. To increase or decrease its size, take a hook with a higher or lower number, respectively.

We begin to knit the motifs and connect them to each other, marked with arrows. To do this, instead of the third air. pet. We knit the arches in a single crochet stitch under a symmetrical arch of 5 air. pet. neighboring square.

We tie the lower edge of the part with two rows of single crochet stitches, and the armhole and neckline - according to figure 3.

According to pattern 4, knit a skirt and sew it to the top of the dress. The expansion of the skirt wedges should be done by gradually increasing the number of loops in each repeat

Elegant crochet summer dress with round yoke

The description corresponds to clothing size 38.

For work we prepare:

  • 4 skeins of yarn “Lily” (100% cotton);
  • hook No. 2.

We will start knitting from the top and then move down. We start each row with 2 air. pet. rise.

We crochet 200 air. pet., and then knit in a circle as shown in diagram 1 to the place where the armhole will be. Next, on each side we need to leave 11 repeats to form the sleeves.

For armholes we dial in 30 air. pet. and continue knitting in the round according to patterns 2-6. The patterns must be alternated, as shown in the pattern.

Tie all edges of the dress with a single crochet stitch and a picot pattern (4 chain stitches every 4 single crochet stitches).

Selection of schemes

Every fashionista wants to show off a unique outfit, and needlewomen are no exception. If you knit for yourself or to order, we suggest you crochet a dress. What it will be like and for whom – depends only on you.

Do you have a desire? Are your eyes burning? Are your hands ready to work? But you don't know where to start? First of all, you should decide: at what time you or your client will wear crochet dress.

Yes, crocheted dresses made from cashmere or acrylic can be worn comfortably under a layer in winter outerwear, but even in warm weather you want to demonstrate a knitted product.

Yarn selection

For summer models It is better to choose natural yarn.

Fine yarn, the main component of which is cotton or bamboo fiber, is suitable. Microfiber, acrylic, lycra or viscose present in the thread will give the product additional properties.
Crochet dress models with openwork elements at the waist, neckline or along the contour of the product look very impressive.

The base of the dress is crocheted number 1, 2 or 3. The openwork of the elements is achieved by using a larger hook or including elements with a large number of air loops.

If you are a beginner, you can crochet a baby summer sundress or a dress of a straight model, gathered with a drawstring or belt. For such a dress there is no need to make patterns and fit tightly to the figure.

There are many models of incredibly feminine dresses that are suitable for both a gala evening and romantic date. Crochet dresses are most often light and openwork. But this is logical; for crochet, most patterns are airy and summery. A crocheted dress using the technique is considered the most chic Irish lace. Only the most experienced craftswomen will undertake the creation of such a masterpiece.

Which yarn to choose for a warm crocheted dress?

Thicker yarn is suitable for crocheting dresses intended to be worn during cold periods. The warmest items will be those knitted from yarn that is at least 50% wool. But be careful, if the thread contains 70% wool or more, the product may turn out to be prickly. Choose imported yarn or merino to keep the wool soft.

The presence of acrylic in such yarn makes knitted dress soft, airy and voluminous. Even on the coldest winter evening you will feel comfortable in it.
It is better to knit such a product with thicker hooks, number 4 or 5.

And to this day the model looks quite popular winter dress, knitted like a sweater with a high cowl neck and length to mid-thigh or just above the knee.

So. The dress turned out to be 70 cm long. I knitted it for my daughter, who is 7 years old. She is a thin and quite tall girl. Knitting density: 28 dc per 10 cm.

Let's start with the materials.

I received 1 skein of yarn as a gift. This is 100% mercerized Iris cotton. A skein contains 300 g and 1800 meters. Hook No. 2.

Invisible lightning.

I started knitting with a skirt. I knitted a tube of 5 rows of 12 large motifs in a permanent way. Watch the video for how to knit these round motifs.

When the pipe was ready, without cutting the thread, I aligned the edge, immediately narrowing it, fitting it. We also do this continuously in semi-motives.

Photo 1. We make the last connecting loop in the pipe. In the same loop we knit a single crochet and cast on 4 loops. Such 4 loops will be between all half-motifs.

Photo 2. We cast on 9+5 loops. We make a connecting loop in the 6th loop from the hook. Thread for work, as when knitting with large motifs in a continuous technique.

Photo 3. We scored 5 ch, 3 of which are considered the first double crochet. Next we knit a dc into a ring, ch 2. 5 times.

Photo 4. Next you need to connect 3 CCHs to a common vertex. We knit the 1st stitch into a ring, the 2nd stitch into the third loop, the 3rd stitch into the sixth loop on the transition chain.

Photo 5. We knit them together and cast on 2 ch.

Photo 6. We make a connecting loop at the top of the column on the comb and cast on 2 vp.

Photo 7. Now connect to the top of the column on the half-motif and cast on 2 ch.

Photo 8. Connecting on a large motif, 2 ch.

Photo 9. Connective on a half-motif. Between the two large motifs before and after the connecting loop, I cast on a chain of 5 ch. This is how we alternately join two more scallops on the next large motif.
Photo 10. From this moment we knit a DC in the 3rd loop out of 5, which we cast on after we wormed the ring for the half-motif. We dial 2 v.p.

Photo 11. We knit a single crochet into the next comb and cast on 4 chs, which, as I said, we will cast on between the half-motifs.

Photo 12. We knit a sc into the next comb and again cast on 14 loops for the next half-motif. Then we repeat from the second photo.

This is the smooth edge we got. It makes it easy and simple to knit any pattern.

Knitting first bodice row. Let's start counting the rows with it. In the diagram I marked in blue our edge, from which we begin to knit the fabric upward. The pink dots are the centers of our half-motifs. The green lifting loops show where we have the beginning and end of the row. The black symbols indicate what needs to be knitted and how to distribute the stitches in the new row. I adjusted this distribution in order to obtain the number of loops for the next row that is a multiple of 3.

Second We knit the row completely with single crochets in each column and under each loop. I knitted according to wrong side, I like it better. The output was 240 columns.

IN third in a row we knit crossed columns along front side.. The difference is that there we knit X-posts with one loop inside and pass 1 between the legs, but here there are 2 loops each. And in today’s pattern, our X-columns have common tops and legs, also at the same point, in two neighboring X-columns.

In the photo below, a row of crossed columns is ready. Next, fourth the row is all single crochet. We make decreases in it, skipping every 10th stitch or loop, for a total of 216 sc (I didn’t take a photo).

Fifth the row is all double crochet, one in each column. 216 SSN.

Sixth row. Also all from CCH, you just need to make 40 decreases with any in a convenient way. I marked 8 places evenly around the circle and made 5 decreases in each (2 DCs with a common top). And one more moment. In this row we leave 3 columns on the back between the beginning and end of the row for the future snake. Starting from this row we knit only in turning rows. The output of this row should be 173 columns.

7,8 and 9
rows - elastic from relief columns 1*1 (LRS, IRS and so on)

After the elastic to the end of knitting the back, in the place where the zipper will be, we knit 4 dcs at the beginning and at the end, regardless of the pattern.

11 row
. The entire row is double crochet, only in the middle of the row (on the 41-42 tick, you need to make 1 decrease so that by the next row we have 171 stitches left (well, we don’t count the 3 that we don’t knit).

12-23 row. Let's start the pattern. There will be no more additions or decreases for now. We knit according to the pattern below in a straight continuous fabric up to the armholes.

Starting from the 24th row, we knit both back and front panels separately. You will get 22 more rows.

(Click on the diagram to enlarge. Opens in a new tab)

We connect the finished back panels to the front when knitting the last row, or sew them together. Then we tie the armholes and neck with a place for a zipper with 3 rows of single crochets. We sew in a zipper.

I additionally tied the bottom of the dress in two rows without patterns, I just knitted what came up. This smoothed out the waves a little, and the row of DCs “weighted” the dress.

We’ll take pictures in the dress later, but for now the photo of the “hot” dress, as they say, is just off the hook :).

And here you can even see how much yarn is left in the skein. You can tie another accessory to the dress, a bolero, openwork mittens, for example, or a cape-stole, a panama hat, or a handbag.
