There's a trip ahead! Whether it’s a business trip, a trip, or not for long, just a couple of days. The main thing is to expect new things: meetings, impressions, sensations, acquaintances.

I want to feel the trip as joyful, so we get ready for the trip in advance. It's time to think about the main travel accessory - a suitcase.

Left behind were the clumsy, heavy suitcases, which required a lot of effort to carry. Today is the time for new things.

Tips on what suitcase to buy for traveling on wheels

Quite often, travelers mentally thank the person who thought of equipping an ordinary suitcase with wheels! The road immediately became easier, but only if your suitcase is comfortable and of high quality, otherwise there will be one problem after another! Therefore, it is important to consider the 9 tips that we have prepared after studying the experiences of many travel lovers. They will tell you how to choose a good quality rolling suitcase.

There are no small details when choosing a suitcase! Therefore, let's get acquainted with all its features. Let's look at what materials are used in the manufacture of travel cases and travel bags, their advantages, and pay attention to such important details: wheels, zippers, locks, handles, and much more. Let's start with the sizes.

Capacity

Firstly, what must be done before choosing is to clarify how many things you plan to take. At the same time we decide whether we will buy a large suitcase or a smaller one.

When determining the size, you need to know who the suitcase is intended for: one person, several, and, accordingly, how many things are supposed to fit. It is also important: what things will be taken on the trip: summer, winter, because the latter need more space? When choosing a suitcase, be sure to consider:

  1. Single person trip, 1-7 days - suitcase minimum sizes, height 59 cm;
  2. One person, 2 weeks, couple people, 1 week - medium suitcase (70 cm high);
  3. A family of two, 2+ (if the child is small) needs a spacious suitcase (80 cm high).

For a family trip, manufacturers offer a super-large suitcase, more than 80 cm high. Please note: such a suitcase is contraindicated for air travel, but is better suited for car travel. Well, what if we have to fly?

Which suitcase to buy for traveling by plane

When choosing a suitcase for traveling by plane, we will take into account the specifics of travel.

Tip No. 1. When packing your suitcase before air travel, remember the numbers:

  1. 23 kg of luggage can be carried free of charge;
  2. 32 kg of luggage is maximum allowed per person.

Now estimate the weight of your things, the total weight of the suitcase, then choosing a traveler’s suitcase by plane will save you from unnecessary problems.

Carry-on suitcase size on an airplane

When preparing for an air flight, you should take care of the suitcases checked in as luggage and the size of the carry-on suitcase on the plane. What are its acceptable dimensions?

When determining the size, we use the sum of adding the values of the three sides of the luggage: length, width, height. Here are the data on the size of a hand luggage suitcase accepted by several airlines:

  • “Aeroflot”: 115 cm, it is possible to take hand luggage on board - a small suitcase 55 cm long, 25 cm wide, 35 cm high;
  • “UTEair” accepts luggage with the same data: 115 cm;
  • “S7 Airlines” set the dimensions: 55x40x20 cm.

Now let's study the material of the suitcases.

What material is better to buy a suitcase from?

There are three main materials: leather, fabric, plastic. Expensive leather items that require special care, most importantly a significant financial investment, you can, of course, take a look at. However, there is no need to consider their possible purchase - it is impractical. Let's talk about other materials, what are suitcases made from, in order to determine whether it is better to buy a plastic or fabric suitcase?

Modern fabric suitcases are pleasant to hold in your hands: light, roomy, using a special wear-resistant fabric in a variety of colors.

Plastic suitcases are the most popular today. Lightweight, fairly durable high-quality plastic solves several problems at once and reliably protects things from dirt and moisture.

Tip No. 2. Regardless of what material you choose, experienced travelers advise you to stop your gaze by buying a suitcase with a bright, catchy color. This will save you from the difficult search for your suitcase running along the luggage belt.

We have considered the advantages of the source materials. What else should you definitely consider when choosing? In addition to the above advantages, fabric suitcases have some disadvantages:

  1. Fragility. The fabric base weakly protects its contents from accidental impact, which can damage the transportation of fragile items;
  2. Wetness. Some manufacturers use blotting fabrics. A suitcase made of wet material will not protect stored items from moisture in the rain.

Weighing the pros and cons of these suitcases, we come to the following conclusion. Fabric suitcases, being lightweight, are good for girls and women carrying small luggage on a short trip. They are convenient for car travelers: the luggage compartment of the car will protect fabric suitcases from impacts and rain.

When deciding whether it is better to buy a plastic or fabric suitcase, we take into account: a plastic suitcase can ensure the safety of even fragile things in the event of a fall or impact. Of course, such suitcases have drawbacks, for example, scratches that spoil its surface, showing that this is a thing with history.

Tip #3: Use a luggage cover to protect your suitcase from scratches.

After studying, do not rush to make your final choice right away. There are many more important elements suitcases, to which we must give the same serious attention. Let's start with the wheels.

Wheels

Perhaps the main detail of modern suitcases is wheels. They were the ones who allowed the traveler to feel freer, because rolling a suitcase is much easier.

However, anything can happen: there are many stories about broken wheels. How to avoid being called an unlucky tourist? That's right, choose suitcase wheels!

The possible number of wheels on a suitcase is 2 or 4. Suitcases of the “trolley” modification have 2 wheels. This suitcase is transported at a slight angle. Such models are characterized by high cross-country ability and the convenience of traveling long distances.

4 wheels are a sign of the “spinner” modification. The wheels of this model are attached to all four corners of the base of the suitcase and are capable of rotating around their axis. When moving such a suitcase, there is no need for an angle of inclination, and a minimum of physical effort is required when moving. But you need a flat surface: asphalt, flooring. If the road is bumpy, prolonged movement on it can cause the wheel to break. Traveling with a spinner will be comfortable for an elderly person. Even a child can easily operate this model.

Tip No. 4. When choosing a suitcase with wheels, give preference to silicone wheels with metal bearings. It is this material that ensures long service life and improves quality.

Pens

Now all attention is on the pen. Selecting a suitcase is impossible without checking. Are its handles comfortable? Usually there are several of them:

  • Retractable - used to carry a suitcase.

Made of metal and plastic, designed to carry luggage. It is convenient when its top is trimmed with rubber or fabric. It is important how far you can extend the handle: the larger it is, the less effort you will have to put in when rolling the suitcase behind you.

The advantage of the retractable handle is the ability to adjust its height, allowing it to be used comfortably by people of different heights. Another plus is that when closing the handle, it goes flush with the body of the suitcase, it is possible to push it completely.

Tip No. 5. The way the retractable handle is attached determines the quality of the whole thing. The fastening should be rigid, the extension should be easy, without any unpleasant sounds.

  • A plastic handle that lifts the suitcase, preferably covered with fabric;
  • Two side transport handles make it more convenient to use the suitcase.

Lock

We open another essential element - the suitcase lock.

Tip No. 6. High-quality zipper. It is considered the best option - a wide (more than 8 mm) plastic zipper that can withstand temperature changes.

Have you zipped up your suitcase but are still worried about the safety of your belongings? So, let's think about the castle! You can protect your suitcase from unwanted entry using a combination padlock.

  • The combination lock opens with an individual code known only to the owner. Convenient for those who are able to remember and accurately reproduce the code, otherwise they will have to break into the suitcase;
  • A padlock is simpler and opens traditionally with a key. The main thing is to remember where the key is stored.

So, we examined the suitcase from all sides. A few more tips:

Tip #7: When choosing a suitcase for travel, be sure to look inside. Experience shows that the one with compartments inside is more practical, and the presence of fasteners is better.

Tip No. 8. External pockets are convenient for storing small items. However, it is better to keep valuables and documents with you.

Tip No. 9. After checking all the details, once again inspect the quality of the selected model. Give preference to a suitcase that has rubberized lining at the corners, high-quality seams, and fittings.

But if not suitable model In general, there is no desire to purchase a suitcase, which means there is a reason to switch to bags.

Travel suitcase sizes and ideal weights

One of the key parameters when choosing a suitcase is, of course, its size. The Russian range of these products is predominantly represented by foreign brands, therefore, as a rule, the English system of measures is used, and the size of a travel suitcase is determined precisely in inches and diagonally.

Video: Choosing a suitcase for travel!

Select the size of the suitcase by height and in inches:

  • S (height< 60 см; вместительность < 50 л). A good “light” option for carry-on luggage. In such a suitcase you can put a pair of shoes and a cosmetic bag, your favorite book, or a set of souvenirs for loved ones. Suitable for a child, teenager. Average dimensions are 16-20 inches (height: 48-54 cm, width: 30-40 cm, depth: 20-22 cm). The 20-inch product with a capacity of 45 liters is the most popular suitcase.
  • M (height< 70 см; вместительность < 90 л). Most popular size. An ideal option for a tourist who takes with him the essentials. Dimensions: 24 inches (height - 65 cm, width - 42 cm, depth - 24 cm).
  • L (height > 70 cm; capacity< 120 л). Large suitcase for family vacations. Size: 28 inches (height - 72 cm, width - 44 cm, depth - 26 cm).
  • XL (height > 80 cm; capacity< 180 л). This huge suitcase is perfect for a cruise. It will easily fit the whole family's things.

Note:

Do not forget that dimensions can fluctuate by 3-5 cm +/-, and the “capacity” of a suitcase often depends on the brand and manufacturer.

For example, the capacity of small suitcases can be 30 liters or 49 liters, and medium ones - from 50 liters.

And definitely pay attention to the weight- especially if you are flying by plane (the weight of a suitcase is not limited by anything only when transporting it independently by train or car, and airlines have introduced restrictions on the maximum weight of suitcases).

Choice of suitcases by material – fabric, plastic, leather?

What material would be preferable for a suitcase? Of course, leather and fabric are nicer. But plastic models can also be quite attractive.

The advantages and disadvantages of luggage products, which we will discuss below, will help you navigate:

Fabric suitcase

Convenient for traveling by train and car. The most wear-resistant fabrics are polyamide, nylon and polyester.

  • The cheapest one is when choosing a suitcase based on material.

  • Sometimes it has the function of increasing volume due to a large external pocket.

Cons:

  • Does not protect fragile items inside the suitcase well.
  • May get wet and leak in the rain (requires purchasing a cover).
  • Deformed.
  • Difficult to wash after traveling.

Plastic suitcase

The suitcase is good for transporting fragile items in small quantities.

Suitcase with wheels or without wheels - pros and cons of both

When choosing a suitcase for vacation, be sure to check the wheels. This is one of the the most important criteria choice!

With broken wheels, even the most beautiful and durable suitcase will not see overseas countries and luxury hotels - it will go to the mezzanine or straight to the trash heap.

Save yourself the hassle and money - check the wheels right away:

  1. Number of wheels. The suitcase with 4 wheels is designed for rolling on smooth roads. Pros – long term service, easy operation, good maneuverability. Pros of a 2-wheeled suitcase: higher cross-country ability. Minus - the wheels break quickly, low maneuverability, you can only roll in an inclined state.
  2. Material: silicone wheels (silent, soft, but burst under load and rough roads), plastic (noisy, brittle, unreliable), rubber (silent, the most reliable).
  3. Wheel size. Of course, 2 solid wheels, recessed into the body and not protruding beyond its limits, will be more passable. It is recommended to choose a product with independent wheel mounting (metal and mounted on metal bearings).

A suitcase without wheels is certainly cheaper, but extremely inconvenient on any trip.

Checking the suitcase handles:

  • Side and top handles (additional) are needed for more comfortable lifting of the suitcase. Telescopic – for moving the product along the road.
  • The handles should be made of dense material and with additional rivets or screws screwed into the body of the suitcase.
  • The presence of a retractable handle is one of the main advantages.

Criteria for choosing a telescopic handle:

  1. Tight fastening.
  2. Several pull-out positions.
  3. No extraneous sounds when pulling out or “hanging out” in the suitcase.
  4. When closed, the handle should be 100% buried in the body.
  5. The ideal material is metal.

Having chosen a suitcase, roll it around the store by the handle: check the height of the handle, the comfort when rolling the suitcase

Suitcase and the safety of things when traveling – how to choose a reliable suitcase?

When choosing a suitcase, do not forget about additional criteria:

  • We are looking for a reliable zipper! The ideal option is wide (approx. - from 1 cm), dense, with huge teeth and plastic. Choose spiral-shaped teeth, the most reliable (tractor teeth break faster). It would be good if the zipper was also rubberized and protected from moisture.
  • Lock. A hinged one is considered more practical, but it is not very reliable, and the key is often lost. A combination lock is more reliable, but if it breaks or the code is lost, you will have to damage the suitcase or take it to a service center. The ideal option is a combination lock, with both locks, and a combination lock - with the TSA system.
  • Interior space. A practical and high-quality suitcase has several compartments, small pockets with a waterproof lining (for documents), a double bottom and special fastenings that keep things inside in case of accidental opening of the suitcase. Check whether the gasket inside is of high quality; it should be made of dense fabric, without crooked seams.
  • Additional emphasis. This option will protect your suitcase from falls. The additional support can be stationary or retractable.

May also be useful:

  1. Additional belt.
  2. A cover to protect your suitcase from scratches and moisture.
  3. A bright ribbon for the handle and an address tag - so as not to confuse your suitcase with someone else's.

Video: How to choose a suitcase for a stylish trip?

Let's summarize - so which suitcase will make your travels easy and enjoyable?

So, we have studied the criteria for choosing a suitcase, and all that remains is to summarize and determine - what is it, the ideal suitcase for traveling?

  • For a short trip with a minimum of things on a plane to a country with smooth roads, an 18-inch suitcase with 4 wheels, with a plastic or leather body and silicone wheels, is suitable.
  • For a long vacation with the whole family when traveling by car It is better to choose large, lightweight 24-28-inch 2-wheeled fabric suitcases with the ability to increase volume due to an external pocket.

The best suitcase It has rubber wheels, a solid wide zipper, a durable body and the most comfortable internal space.

Not long ago we asked ourselves this question: “which suitcase is the best?” After a year and a half of traveling, our old suitcases showed themselves only in the best light, but it was time for them to retire, as they were worn out and worn out, torn and broken in some places.

We took a specific approach to choosing a suitcase, because we didn’t want to buy something of poor quality, but spending millions on some suitcases was not our option. Even expensive suitcases sometimes cannot withstand the frantic rhythms of flights like ours, but sometimes cheap things can last for centuries, withstand fire, water and copper pipes. But.

Which material is better?

Let's move on to a practical analysis of suitcase materials that currently exist on the market:

  • Fabric suitcases- one of the inexpensive models. You can’t fit anything fragile into such suitcases, even if you wrap a bottle, for example, of wine from Georgia in a towel. There will still be a risk of not bringing home the gift. The advantages of fabric suitcases are diversity color palette, lots of external pockets and the fact that the suitcase can mold to the shape of your items when packing. The downside is the instability after packing and the speed at which dirt appears, which is difficult to wash, and such suitcases quickly tear from the pressure of things, especially around the zipper, and the design, or most likely the lack thereof, can also be considered a disadvantage.
  • Leather suitcases. Probably the most expensive and timeless suitcases that exist. Even if you take it with you as hand luggage into the cabin, due to the constant shifting from shelf to shelf, the material will not last long in perfect condition. Probably, leather suitcases are justified only in the case of a millionaire owner who has a personal plane :)
  • ABS plastic suitcases are not expensive. At least once, have you paid attention to the versions of suitcases with the Eiffel Tower or painted with the British flag or some other mainstream. These suitcases are made of ABS plastic and are not very resistant to mechanical stress, be it dropped at the airport or scratches. Heavy and fragile, but with some design! And yes, of the materials presented in the list, these plastic suitcases are the only ones made without an expander to the best of their properties.
  • Polycarbonate- the most common material in the world of suitcases. Elastic, lightweight and resistant to mechanical damage. Typically, polycarbonate suitcases need to be filled to capacity with things to prevent them from breaking. That is, do not transport it empty or not completely filled. But now there are improved models on the market that are not afraid of this, for example, models without any additives - only 100% durable polycarbonate.
  • Polypropylenebest option for travelers. It is a tough, durable and impact-resistant suitcase material, but a little heavy. If it’s hard to lift it empty, then I can imagine the weight of it when it’s packed to the top.
  • Curv- a material patented by Samsonite, which has exorbitant prices for all types of suitcases. I’d rather use this money to make a couple of flights in Asia than to buy such an expensive suitcase. But still, the Curv material consists of interwoven polypropylene fibers, which gives it special flexibility, maximum strength and lightness. It's up to you to decide.

As an experiment, we chose two suitcases from different price categories, but of the same material: a regular Camel Active suitcase made of polycarbonate with plastic admixtures and ultra-wear-resistant 100% polycarbonate from Delsey. The second one turned out to be more expensive and of better quality, but buying two of these was a toad’s choice. Plus, we have never dealt with plastic suitcases and decided that if one of them breaks, then at the same time we’ll see which suitcases we don’t need to buy. But, nevertheless, it turned out to be a great experiment! But more on that later.

Criteria for choosing the best suitcase

Definitely, the suitcase should be suitable for your lifestyle - how often you travel, what purposes it will serve, what type of transport will be preferable and how much stuff you have (whether you are a woman).

First of all, you need to pay attention to suitcase dimensions, estimating the number of things being transported. If there are few things or you go on business trips for 2-3 days, or generally travel for no more than a week, then it makes sense to choose a small suitcase that can pass for hand luggage, but it is worth considering that there are standards for the size of such a suitcase.

The length, width and height of a piece of hand luggage must not exceed 50*40*20 cm or 110 cm in the sum of three dimensions.

And most importantly, you cannot carry liquids exceeding 100 ml in your carry-on suitcase, as well as nail scissors and other sharp objects.

The second criterion is suitcase weight. Suitcases made of fabric and polycarbonate are lightweight. Everywhere they write that this is a very important parameter that can protect you from being overweight and overpaying at the airport for extra kg. But, as practice shows, if you have packed a lot of things with you, then one or two kilograms of the weight of the suitcase will not save the situation. In any case, the airline may drop one kilogram at check-in and simply let you through with this small advantage. But if you fly on budget airlines (low-cost airlines), then you will have to transfer the extra kilos into your hand luggage. And this is good if you invest in the required 7-10 kg in hand luggage weight.

The third criterion is possibility to expand the space in a suitcase. I think everyone is familiar with additional zippers on suitcases that hide the fold of the fabric, but if you open the zipper and release the fabric, then a couple more centimeters are added to the height of the suitcase, about 4 to 8. At the beginning of our journey, we prayed for expanders, but now, dramatically Having rethought the filling of our suitcases, we don’t use them at all, but we bought them “just in case.”

It is very important to pay attention to quantity and quality of wheels suitcase. I still can’t understand why some people recommend buying suitcases with two wheels, if four are good on any surface? Because you don’t have to put any more effort into dragging it behind you, and on the flat surfaces of airports it’s a blast – you can push with one finger! Of course, subject to the presence of wheels with good materials. Which do not create a lot of noise during operation and do not move the suitcase in different directions, for example, polyurethane ones.

Delsey polyurethane multi-directional wheels

Camel Active plastic wheels

It is also necessary protect your suitcase from burglary and theft of things by putting a separate lock on it or purchasing a suitcase with a built-in lock. It is believed that the most reliable lock is the TSA type with a code that is almost impossible to crack. But the baggage check service at the airport can, using a special key.

Quality TSA combination lock on Delsey

And a lower quality, external TSA combination lock on the Camel Active

Well, the last thing you should pay attention to is the presence and quality of handles suitcase, fasteners And lining inside. The retractable handle should be metal, and the two handles on the sides should be strong, preferably with additional fastenings so that they do not come off. Zippers should not jam, and the lining should not be made of thin material that will tear very quickly in this situation.

Judging by our experiment, we can say that the expensive Delsey suitcase is easy to use, the material is pleasant both inside and out, it does not scratch, and the wheels move just perfectly on any surface without much effort on the part of a person. But the cheap Camel Active is not of such quality, the frame and legs scratch easily, which create a lot of noise and require effort, even for rolling on a flat airport floor.

But if you are afraid of contamination or rubbing of the frame, you can purchase fabric covers for suitcases. After flights, the suitcase will remain beautiful and the covers can be easily washed. And as a bonus - excellent recognition on all baggage claim belts, especially if the covers are colorful and cheerful.

Our colored suitcase covers

I’m publishing this article just at the beginning of summer and the holiday season, so I hope to help you with your difficult choice! Have easy trips and learn a rational approach to filling your suitcases;)

Your travel experience largely depends on how comfortable your suitcase is. Nowadays there are many types of suitcases. What models you won’t see today! But how to choose a suitcase on wheels that will last a long time and be convenient and functional?

To choose a good suitcase, you need to pay attention to several important factors.

Volume and size

To determine the size, you need to know:
-how many people will use the suitcase,
-where are you going (do you take warm clothes that take up a lot of space?)
-for how long.
But first things first, let’s first determine what types of suitcases there are, and, accordingly, how to choose the size of the suitcase.

Most often (for most manufacturers) suitcases in collections come in three or four sizes:

1) , suitable fits hand luggage sizes: The sum of all dimensions of such a suitcase should not exceed 115 cm for most airlines. Most often these dimensions are 40 x 55 x 20 cm. The volume of such suitcases usually does not exceed 40 liters. But there is also such an important parameter as the permissible weight for hand luggage, which each airline sets independently. Therefore, if you plan to take your suitcase on board, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with your airline's rules for carrying hand luggage in advance.

A small suitcase is suitable for a very short trip for one person. Most often, websites indicate the external dimensions of suitcases, which means the internal space is much smaller. Therefore, only the most necessary things will fit in such a suitcase.

!Small nuance: in a 2 wheel suitcase small size There will be more space than in its 4-wheeled counterpart due to the rationally used space between the wheels. But rolling a 4-wheel model is much more enjoyable. What is more convenient is up to you to decide.

!Important: Keep in mind that there are small suitcases that do NOT fit into most airline carry-on sizes.

3) Large suitcase. Large suitcases usually include models with a height of more than 70 cm. But the sum of all dimensions of the suitcase should not exceed 158 cm. If your baggage exceeds this mark, the airline may refuse to carry such a suitcase.

A large suitcase will fit everything necessary for two people for about a week with a moderate amount of items. On the other hand, might it be better to take a couple of medium suitcases? Then just the two of you will fit.

Which suitcase to choose for travel? Zipper or snaps

Wheels are one of the most important parts of a suitcase, which must be treated with maximum attention. As you know, there are 2 and 4 wheel suitcases.

With 2-wheeled models everything is clear; they need to be tilted to move them. 2-wheeled suitcases will travel over almost any terrain. The downside of such models is that 1/3 of the weight of the suitcase will fall on your hand. This disadvantage will be especially noticeable for owners of large suitcases.

But with 4-wheelers everything is not so simple. They are incredibly easy and really nice to roll on 4 wheels on a flat surface, for example, at the airport. But on tiles or uneven surfaces it’s not so easy. Most models of 4 wheel suitcases are not designed to be rolled on 2 wheels, as many do large number travelers.

!Important: If a 4-wheeled suitcase has single wheels, then it cannot be rolled on 2-wheelers.

But manufacturers got out of this predicament in two ways. Considering that in some situations it is more convenient for people to carry a suitcase on 2 wheels, suitcases with larger diameter rear wheels and double wheels were created.
Such 4-wheeled suitcases can be rolled on 2 wheels if necessary!

How to choose a suitcase for a trip? Internal organization

The internal organization of suitcases is of no small importance. The cost of the model depends on how functional and comfortable the interior space is. Many suitcases today have inside you can find a cover for clothes, bags for shoes, waterproof cosmetic bags, and a briefcase compartment.

Color

It would seem, what difference does it make what color the suitcase is? It turns out there is! In fact, the brighter the suitcase, the easier it will be for you to recognize it at the airport baggage carousel. With colorful luggage, you won't have to look at who's suitcase is it?

How to choose a suitcase for traveling by plane? Which suitcase should you choose for the plane? What material should it be made of so that the movers transport company didn't damage it? What is the optimal size and number of wheels?

Choosing a suitcase for an airplane is not an easy task! It is necessary to take into account many nuances so that the suitcase is really convenient to use, and so that it remains intact after flights. We have compiled several criteria for you that will help you choose a suitcase for traveling by plane.

1. The most reliable option for an airplane is one that does not need to be checked in as luggage. The dimensions of the suitcase according to international standards are 40x55x20 cm. Moreover, if the suitcase has an increase of several centimeters, then when unfolded it will most likely not be allowed into the aircraft cabin. But a suitcase with such dimensions, to put it mildly, is not roomy. It is suitable for a business trip for a couple of days, and even then it is not for everyone.

Therefore, if you decide to choose a full-fledged, roomy travel suitcase that will have to be checked in as luggage, then you need to pay attention to:

  • type and quality of material,

  • manufacturer.

2.Today, the most reliable material for luggage production is curv material. Curv suitcases were crushed by trucks, scratched with knives, and even an elephant was sat on them. They survived everything! The test video can be viewed below, and on the official channel Robinson.ru on Youtube there are others interesting videos on the topic.

The only disadvantage of such suitcases is the price. They really aren't cheap! But progress does not stand still and there is worthy alternative. Read below.

3. Suitcases made of polypropylene. Polypropylene is a hard plastic that can withstand the most ill-treatment. In general, it’s the best for an airport! In addition, polypropylene suitcases are often made with latches rather than zippers, which makes it airtight and waterproof. In addition, hard plastic is practically not subject to deformation.
