I will show, at the request of one of the blog readers, how you can create a pattern for pants with a dropped crotch. Another beautiful name for such pants is “Aladdin”, or “harem pants”, or simply put, pants with a low waist.
How to cut such pants, and do you need a base pattern for this?
Construction
Constructing an Aladdin pattern is more like constructing a pattern than constructing one.
Let's draw a vertical line with its vertex at point T.
From point T, horizontally to the left and to the right, set aside 1/2 of the half-circumference of the waist and place points T1 and T2. T1T2 = St. Segment T1T2 - estimated waist line.
Next, we set aside 18 - 20 cm from point T down and set point TB, or according to the formula TB = Dts/ 2. Draw a horizontal line through point B. On this straight line from point B, horizontally to the left and right, we lay 1/2 of the line of the hips and place points B1 and B2. B1B2 = Sat.
From point T down vertically we set aside the length of the crotch seam (in this case it is 45 cm) and set point W. We draw a horizontal line through this point. We got the so-called step line.
Now from point T1 and from point T2 to the step line we draw two arcs with a radius equal to the length of the trousers (I took 82 cm) and get points Ш1 and Ш2.
Now we connect point T1 with point Ш11 and point T2 with point Ш22. Lines Т1Ш11 and Т2Ш22 are the side seams of our panties.
We will also connect points Ш1 with Ш11 and Ш2 with Ш22. Lines Ш1Ш11 and Ш2Ш22 are the bottom lines.
Since our pants have a low waistline, we put 2 - 6 cm down from point T and set point T0 and draw a horizontal line through it. And at the intersection of this line with the side seams we put points T11 and T22. Line T11T22 - waist line of the pants. You can round it a little by stepping back 1 cm from points T11 and T22.
You noticed that we did not use points B1 and B2, why did we build them?
The fact is that the side seams will not always be located so far from these points.
If, for example, we take ТШ = 60 cm, and Т1Ш11 = 70 cm, then the side seams will be located closer to points B1 and B2. 
The main thing is not to narrow your trousers along the hips. But in this case they look more like a skirt.
Here is another example, in which points B1 and B2 are located on the side seams:
In this example we cut a little differently. We connect point T1 with point B1 and continue this line down. Likewise on the other side. Connect T2 to B2 and continue the line down.
We put points Ш11 and Ш22 on these lines. Segments T1Ш11 and Т2Ш22 are equal to the length of the trousers on the side.
If you have trousers with a lowered waistline, then we set the length of the trousers from points T11 and T22.
Now from points Ш11 and Ш22 we restore perpendiculars to lines Т1Ш11 and Т2Ш22, respectively. And on these perpendiculars we lay down the segments Ш11Ш1 and Ш22Ш2 equal to the width of the trousers at the bottom.
And we connect points Ш2, Ш and Ш1 with a smooth curve.
Lines Ш2Ш and Ш1Ш are the instep seams of our panties.
The belt in Aladdin pants, as a rule, has an elastic band and is cut out in the form of a rectangle. The bottom of the trousers, or rather pants, can also be made with an elastic band or a cuff.
These are such comfortable bloomers. You can sew them from knitwear, silk, or even cotton. Excellent clothing for home and sports, as well as for a party and a walk around the city.

There, their Bushman misses have such a butt that your eyes will pop out of your head, and maybe even further. They will jump out of their eye sockets and jump away screaming into an unknown direction. These pants are just right for these bushwomen.
This is about glamorous pussycats. And there are also glamorous cats. These are the boys (this Hebrew word suits them like no other) who wear trousers with hanging waistbands. The first export of such clothing can be considered military trophies brought by the Cossacks from campaigns on the Turkish shores. In addition to the Turkish ones, gradually new immigrant things came to Europe century after century, year after year. Indian Aladdins, African-French Zouaves and Afghanis. There were, of course, products of our own production. In particular, breeches, created by a French general to disguise thigh wounds.
Men's trousers with frills - descendants of long skirts
In ancient times, pants with a low waist were a regular skirt. Yes, the ancestor of modern wide-legged pants was precisely the representative of the women's wardrobe! In Persia, a long skirt tied with a belt was used as comfortable clothing for riding. Then, for greater practicality, skirts began to be sewn along the edges, leaving openings for the legs. Later, a special cut of the so-called “shalwars” appeared, which still exists today. Thus, loose wide trousers were obtained, which became the ancestors of modern trousers, trousers and Aladdins.

In the 19th century, General Auguste Gallifet did not want to put up with the then military fashion. Due to a wound in the thigh, the Marquis could no longer afford to wear tight leggings. Presenting at the ball in trousers sewn according to his own patterns, the general created a sensation among the nobility present. His new trousers were still tight at the ankles, but widened out at the hips. Soon, as Minister of War, named after the Frenchman, breeches were introduced into the army ranks. Later, when the descendants of the Gauls concentrated their interests within the African colonies, the riding breeches were replaced by a more modernized model. Named after the cavalry troops, they differed from the riding breeches by an even more extended armhole.

Afghani, saruel, Aladdin, seraglio (from the word seraglio - the female part of the palace in the East), harem pants - all these are different names for the same thing - wide pants with an extremely low crotch position. Most people don’t like them; “shaky clothes” along with Uggs invariably top the list of things that “wouldn’t wear under any circumstances.” But it seems to me in vain, they are funny and comfortable.
About five years ago, I was inspired to sew myself such pants, at least for the house, but my husband, it turned out, belongs to the very category that is ugh. Luckily for me, a friend wanted them just at that time and, even if not for herself, my wish came true and the accumulated selection of materials for sewing afghanis came in handy.
Methods for cutting pants of this type can, by and large, be divided into three groups. My girlfriend and I tried them all)
Method one. Classical
In the original, afghanis are sewn from rectangular fabric, folded in a cunning way, to which cuffs and a belt are then sewn.

My version, sewn back in 2010, looked like this: 
It took 1.7 Indian cotton. The waistband and cuffs are gathered with a rubber strip. There are two patch pockets, but they are not visible due to the colors.
Pros/cons: Among the advantages of this cutting method is the ease of sewing and cutting, and it is the classic version that provides maximum freedom of movement. At least do the splits! It is comfortable to sit cross-legged in these pants and you can do yoga, even if the fabric is not elastic. Disadvantages - the maximum volume of fabric, therefore, the most controversial fit from an aesthetic point of view; very high fabric consumption.
Method two. Based on the trouser pattern

My version (sewn in 2013, photographed in 2014, by 2015 I was honored to publish) 
The main fabric is viscose staple, the remainder is 90 cm. I cut it across, it fit into the cut without much effort, and there was also enough for pockets in the seams. Cuffs and waistband - thin viscose jersey. At the bottom of the waistband I stitched a drawstring and inserted a wide elastic band, because... the selected knitwear stretches easily and trusting it alone to hold the pants would be frivolous))
Pros/Cons: Pros - economical, good fit; disadvantages - restrictions on freedom of movement, compared to the classical method.
You won’t be able to do the splits anymore)

Method three. Triangle
Alas, I cannot demonstrate my own example. I sewed these for the mother of the same friend for whom I sewed the previous versions. There is only this photo ((( 
Viscose staple again, it drapes beautifully.
It was a gift, so there is no photo of the owner. But a friend said that my mother traveled to the south in them and actively wore them on vacation. Based on this, I think they pleased me with a gift. For the purity of the experiment, it would be necessary to sew such for Irishka to complete the study)))
