How to assemble from paper modules ship

A ship made of paper modules. Master class

We will tell you how to make a boat from paper modules.

This craft can be made by children over 6 years old. This craft is simple and good for those who are just starting to practice the art of origami.

A ship is a great summer craft, a craft is a gift, a craft is an interior decoration in nautical style. You can give such a craft to a graduate and let this ship become a ship of good luck for him.

DIY paper ship. Manufacturing

To make the ship, we will use three colors of paper: yellow, red and blue (the paper can be regular colored, office or special for origami). The size of one module in our case is 7.5 by 5 cm (modules can be made in a different size and color)

Assemble the yellow, blue and red modules according to the diagram. You will find diagrams for assembling modules.

1. Take 36 blue modules for the first row (modules are on the long side) and 36 blue modules for the second row (modules are on the short side) and connect them in Method 3 ( see Fastening modules), closing it in a ring.

2. In the third row, put on 36 yellow modules. In this and subsequent rows, the modules are put on with the long side outward.

Next, put 1 yellow module in one pocket on two adjacent corners of the modules of the previous row, then put on 4 red modules and again - 2 yellow modules in one pocket on one corner (this way we will expand the ship at the stern). Moving on, put on 12 red modules, 2 yellow modules with one pocket on one corner (we are starting to expand the bow of the ship), 4 yellow modules, 2 yellow modules with one pocket on one corner, 12 red modules (see photo).

3. In the fifth row, continue to expand the ship in the same places. Starting from the stern, put on 2 yellow modules with one pocket on one corner, 5 red modules, 2 yellow modules with one pocket on one corner, 13 red, 2 yellow modules with one pocket on one corner, 5 yellow modules, 2 yellow modules with one pocket on one corner, 13 red modules. Gradually give the ship the desired shape. To do this, you need to bring the sides of the ship as close as possible, increasing the distance between the stern and bow.

4. In the place where the stern widens, put 1 yellow module on the two corners of the yellow modules of the previous row, then put on 6 red modules, 1 yellow, 14 red, 8 yellow, 14 red.

5. Also start assembling the seventh row from the stern. Put on 1 yellow module (offset towards the stern), 5 red, 1 yellow, 15 red, 7 yellow, 15 red.

6. In the next row, all modules should be put on with the short side out: 6 yellow (stern), 16 blue, 6 yellow (bow), 16 blue.

9th row: 1 blue module (on the blue and yellow corner of the modules of the previous row), 5 yellow, 1 blue;

10th row: 1 blue module (on the blue and yellow corner of the modules of the previous row), 4 yellow, 1 blue;

11th row: 1 blue module (on the blue and yellow corner of the modules of the previous row), 3 yellow, 1 blue;

12th row: 1 blue module (on the blue and yellow corner of the modules of the previous row), 2 yellow, 1 blue;

13th row: 3 blue modules (see photo).

Finish assembling the bow of the ship by putting 6 yellow modules in the center, and on each side - 1 yellow module (on the three corners of the modules of the previous row) and 4 more yellow modules. In total you need to put on 16 yellow modules.

8. Move to the stern of the ship. Insert (do not push on) the 13 red modules with the long side facing out (see photo).

In the next row (see photo), insert 12 blue modules into the adjacent pockets of the red modules of the previous row using Method 3 ( see Fastening modules).

1st row: 3 modules;

2nd row: 4 modules;

3rd row: 5 modules;

4th row: 6 modules;

5th row: 7 modules;

6th row: 6 modules (the extreme corners of the modules of the previous row remain free);

7th row: 7 modules (grab the outermost free corners of the fifth row modules);

8th row: 6 modules (starting from this row, put the outer modules on both sides on the three corners of the modules of the previous row);

9th row: 5 modules;

10th row: 4 modules;

11th row: 3 modules.

10. Insert the bottom, pressing it firmly against the walls of the ship.

11. Now you need to assemble the sail (see photo):

1st row: 13 yellow modules;

2nd row: 12 yellow modules (the extreme corners of the modules of the previous row remain free);

3rd row: 13 red modules (grab the outermost free corners of the modules of the first row);

4th row: 12 red modules;

5th row: 6 yellow modules, 1 blue, 6 yellow (grab the outermost free corners of the third row modules);

6th row: 5 yellow modules, 2 blue, 5 yellow;

7th row: 5 red modules, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 5 red (grab the outermost free corners of the fifth row modules);

8th row: 5 red modules, 2 blue, 5 red;

9th row: 6 yellow modules, 1 blue, 6 yellow (grab the outermost free corners of the modules of the seventh row);

10th row: 12 red modules (starting from this row, put the outer modules on both sides on the three corners of the modules of the previous row);

11th row: 11 yellow modules;

12th row: 10 blue modules (the outermost modules are placed on three corners).

Give the sail a curved shape.

12. To make a flag, insert 3 modules into each other with two corners in two pockets: 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 blue.

13. Take a wooden stick (this will be the mast of the ship), glue a flag at the very top, attach a sail to it and insert the mast into the bottom of the ship.

The ship is ready!

Note: for a more durable connection of parts, use PVA glue.

Good luck with your creativity.

Many people from different parts of the world have known the origami boat since childhood. Making paper boats is a very pleasant activity, because a ship or boat is a symbol of freedom, hope, change and dreams. They also associate the arrival of spring with a paper boat: rivers open up, streams flow, and it’s interesting to launch boats and ships along them.

An origami ship can be made in several ways, depending on the model. These can be simple boats and sailboats, or steamships and liners. By performing the assembly steps step by step, you can build an entire fleet using the origami technique.

The article offers a variety of origami designs for boats and ships that will appeal to beginning craftsmen. For easy understanding of the assembly, it is recommended to rely on the drawings, photos and videos presented in the master classes.

This master class offers step-by-step instructions for assembling different boat figurines. The origami boat has several designs. Paper boats can be with or without sails, “able” to float, or play the role of a stationary craft (for example, for appliques). They can be folded from colored sheets of paper or painted with pencils and felt-tip pens, and wishes and dreams can be written on the sides. Design ideas can be very diverse depending on the imagination and purpose of the boat.

A paper boat can be a boat, yacht, sailboat, canoe or kayak. Let's try to put together different models of boats.

Instructions for assembling a simple boat from origami paper. Bend the rectangular sheet in half, and then in half again, unfold (you should get a vertical bend). Along the intended bend, connect the two upper corners of the origami ship.

Fold the bottom edges up on both sides. Fold over the bottom corners. Fold the edges up again.

Take the edges from the inside and pull in different directions (the triangle should form a diamond). Bend the bottom corners of the diamond towards the middle on both sides. Repeat the previous point.

Once again bend the lower edges towards the middle of the origami ship. Bend the triangular edges in different directions and stretch the figure.

Sailing yacht

The yacht is very simple to make; the assembly diagram will be understandable for beginners and even children. Bend the square sheet diagonally and unfold it. Repeat step 1 for the second diagonal, do not unfold.

Fold the bottom edge of the resulting triangle to the middle of the origami ship and unfold it. Along the intended curve, bend the bottom edges upward (turn inside out).

The result is an origami yacht.

Three more schemes are also offered different models sailboats with step-by-step instructions.

The first version of a paper boat is made from basic figure"double square":

Turn the workpiece over and bend it top layer in half. Tuck the left corner inside the workpiece. Raise the corner from bottom to top.

Bend the top and bottom corners towards the middle of the origami boat. Fold the top layer of the workpiece in half.

The second version of a paper origami ship is made from the basic “catamaran” shape:

Straighten the sailboat.

Third version of the sailboat:

Canoe

A canoe or kayak is assembled from a square. To do this you need to: bend it diagonally and unfold it. Bend all corners towards the center and unfold.

Connect all corners to the kinks outlined in step 2. Wrap the workpiece on all sides along the folds made in step 2. Turn the workpiece over and fold the edges towards the middle.

Bend all corners inward. Fold the sides over as shown in the picture.

Align the corners on both sides with the middle. Open and turn out the figure.

Raise the center and edges.

You can decorate finished boats and sailboats with flags, hearts, flowers that can be cut out using templates, or try to decorate the boat yourself.

Steamships and ships

This MK offers models of self-propelled ships and steamships. It is very easy to make a cruise ship (assembly is similar to a model yacht). You need to take a square sheet and perform the following steps: bend it diagonally. Bend the corner upwards diagonally and bend it back. Turn the workpiece inside along the bend.

Use scissors to cut the pipe.

When the work is completed, you can paint the liner to give it a “real” look. How you can decorate your ship is shown in the photo.

To make a classic steamboat with two pipes, you need to prepare basic form"pancake". The following steps should be followed:

  • turn the workpiece over and fold the corners towards the middle;
  • repeat step 1 twice;
  • turn two opposite corners outward to form pipes;
  • Bend the other two corners in different directions and slightly flatten the figure.

Here comes the ship!

Video master class on boat assembly

A boat that will set sail is a little more difficult to assemble previous models. To assemble it you will need a 20x20 cm square and a glue stick.

You can watch the detailed assembly of the boat in the video.

Finally, for professional assemblers, we present a video with a visual description of assembling a beautiful sailing ship made of paper. This good example how you can make works of art with your own hands from simple and familiar materials.

Video: Making a large sailing boat

There are many different origami ship models. Some can be easily done by children, while others will make an adult chug. The most complex swimming devices, of course, are modular, but this is a topic for a separate article. First, you should learn to do something easier. Where to start? To make an origami boat from paper with a diagram, you need to understand the basics of the work. To begin with, you can make the simplest boat.

Classic ship

The most famous boat that many made in childhood.

Take a sheet of A4 paper. Folds in half, crosswise. Next you need to take the corners and fold them to the middle of the folded sheet. The lower parts on both sides are bent upward. The corners of the resulting triangle must be brought together. Bend the bottom corners up. Bring the corners together again as before. Carefully open the workpiece. The result is a boat like this. The most suitable model for children.

You can decorate with masts with flags, like here:

Can be made from colored paper:

Here are a few more ideas on how you can decorate your interior using these boats. Place it in a jar or bottle with confetti.

Place on a plate for table decoration and write the guest's name on the flag. If a child sits in this place, you can pour candy there.

Make a garland out of small ships using a string and securing with knots. This will help create a pleasant seaside atmosphere.

Simple model

Another model that will not be difficult to make even at all small child. Need a sheet square shape. It folds diagonally to form a triangle.

The lower corner of the triangle bends upward, as in the photo, and bends back.

And now the corner that we bent and unbent must be folded inside the boat.

To get a boat like this.

You can leave the boat with such a sharp top, or you can trim it with scissors.

If desired, the child can color it.

Ship with pipes

This boat is more complicated, but it floats well on the water and has an original shape.

Here you will need square paper and scissors. If you need to make square paper out of rectangular paper, you should bend the sheet in half into a triangle and cut off the edge. It should be a square.

Bend the square in half in the other direction, you need to get a cross.

Bend one corner towards the center. Also the remaining three corners.

Turn the workpiece and fold all corners towards the center again.

Turn the workpiece over again and bend all the corners.

And again the future ship must be turned over. Then open the pocket as in the photo.

Also open the opposite pocket.

Well, now we need to straighten the resulting model, and here it is, a two-pipe motor ship, in all its glory.

Ship with sail

So, now about how to make a sailboat.

Here you need a square sheet of paper and scissors if you need to make a square one from a rectangular sheet.

Fold the sheet in half, diagonally. You will get a triangle.

Fold it again in the other direction.

One corner is bent towards the center.

Until now, everything was done as for a ship. You also need to bend two more corners, only two! You will get an envelope.

Ship - in distant, distant times, people came up with a boat, then inserted a mast with a sail into it and it turned out to be a sailboat. Nowadays, the ships that sail by are the size of houses and range from long tankers, warships and multi-story liners. But the paper boat in its simple design remains almost unchanged. They lowered him into the water in a stream, blew and he swam and ran along the murmuring current of the stream. Making a paper boat is quite simple if you follow the simple instructions in the picture diagram.
