The new Mayer&Boch multicooker model 10705 is multifunctional and easy to use. For a modern person, this multicooker is a real treasure, since with it you can cook anything you want without putting in a lot of effort and time. With its help you can fry, boil, stew, bake and prepare many different healthy dishes, and for this you only need to select a certain operating mode.
In order for the multicooker to work properly and there are no problems with the operation process, it is necessary to read the instructions before starting work, which contains a list of warnings and recommendations for using the device.

The first rule is to make sure that the power plug and cord are not damaged, otherwise this can result in big troubles and unexpected surprises. When starting to cook, close the multicooker lid tightly. If it is not closed enough, this may lead to a loss of quality and taste of the cooked food. In order to avoid damage to the coating of the pan, it is necessary to use all the accessories that are included in the kit when working, or, as a last resort, purchase wooden or plastic kitchen utensils. They are inexpensive, but will bring a lot of benefits. The use of metal brushes is prohibited. To cancel the selected cooking mode, you need to turn it off and then turn it on again by selecting a new mode. And only in this sequence, otherwise expect problems.
Main features of the Mayer&Boch 10705 multicooker.
There are many advantages in the new model. Among them, we can note a built-in microcomputer, an LCD display, a ceramic coating of the pan, and hermetic cooking, which is typical only for model 10705, and we can also highlight the property of 3D temperature control and thermal insulation, versatility and the possibility of a delayed start. Let's take a closer look at these features.
The built-in microcomputer and LED control panels guarantee the setting of absolutely any mode, and also provide intuitive control. The built-in microcomputer does not require much knowledge and skills to operate on the part of the consumer. In order to turn on the control, you need to connect the power cord and wait until the number 88 lights up on the display. Then you need to select the cooking mode. Everything here is according to your wishes, choose what dish you want to cook for lunch or dinner. After the mode is selected, the cooking time will appear opposite the name. For example, pilaf/cereals - 40 minutes, soup/milk porridge - 60 minutes, baking/stewing -50 minutes, baking -30 minutes. Frying -25 min. After the light blinks, press the power button. And that’s it, then the dish will be prepared independently, without your participation. But if you decide to change the mode, then first you need to turn off the old one, and the number “88” will light up on the display again.
The built-in “maintain constant temperature” mode turns on automatically immediately after cooking. It helps maintain the temperature you need for 24 hours. In this case, two letters “BB” will appear on the display.
Now about the delayed start mode. It happens that you need to prepare a dish by a certain time, but you cannot be at the multicooker all the time. It is precisely for such cases that this mode exists. To turn it on, you need, as in other functions, to select the cooking mode, then turn on the “Install” button. After this, the indicator light next to this button will light up, and the “smart machine” notifies you that the system is starting. In order to increase the delayed start time, you must press the same button again, the cooking time will be delayed by one hour. Once you have selected the desired time, press the “start” button, which will start the countdown. During this time, the button indicator will continue to flash. In general, the delayed start mode can be increased to nine hours, which is very convenient for working people. You can set the multicooker to prepare a certain dish in the morning, and then come in the evening and calmly try it. Many housewives especially liked this function of the multicooker.
Mayer&Boch MB-10705 is an indispensable assistant in the kitchen, which frees up a huge amount of free time, because all that is required of you is to select the desired program from the available eight and load the products. A spacious five-liter bowl will allow you to prepare a significant number of servings for a large family or for a dinner party. The surface of the bowl is covered with a modern ceramic non-stick coating. The multicooker comes with a spoon, a ladle, a measuring cup and a steam plate. All these devices are easy to clean, and the multicooker cup can even be put in the dishwasher.

Pros: Very easy to use, intuitive device.
Cons: BIGGEST DISADVANTAGE – no instructions!!! The three-page piece of paper they gave out is a complete fiction! No temperature conditions, no optimal volumes and times, no tips for preparing certain dishes.
For example, the “Dairy Products” button says: “For heating milk. The default cooking time is 10 minutes." This is ALL the information. Why heat milk? To what temperature? There is nothing.
Or another example: “Deep-frying. For frying chicken, French fries, onion rings, etc. The default cooking time is 60 minutes." ALL. Understand it as you wish. How much oil do you need, a liter or a tablespoon? What temperature will it heat up to? Is it possible to fry onions and carrots for soup using this function? There's nothing anywhere. So I understand that I will have to experiment for a couple of months, waste time and energy. But the device was bought for the opposite purpose - to save time.
There is no recipe book, and there are NO recipes for this cartoon on the internet. There is nothing at all about her.
Why couldn't rubber feet be provided? You press a button and the device “goes away.” I would like a 5l bowl. The description says 5L, although the useful volume is 3L.
Price - other multicookers are 3 times cheaper, but they work no worse and there are instructions, complete and detailed, and not just “do not disconnect the device from the power supply during cooking.”
DO NOT BUY, you can find better!
Review: Do you have an on/off button? We didn't find it here.

Review: in the stewing mode it burns - it’s powerful, but the soup turned out to be super-rich, remove the valve - only the lower part but not the whole, the bowl rotates, the Teflon is strong, but it burned a couple of times, I think I’ll have to look for a replacement bowl

Pros: easy to use, ceramic bowl, convenient selection of programs, wide selection of programs, you can cook whatever you want by maneuvering them
Cons: short cord, no deep frying basket
Review: I really liked it, I had doubts when choosing it, I was afraid that it was garbage, but it turned out to be just super, I only cook in it. Now even the stove just sits idle and takes up space in the kitchen. The first time there was a smell of plastic, but the second time there was no such smell, in the morning I get up, throw in some cereal, and alright, the porridge is ready, you can sleep peacefully for another hour and then get up and feed the child ready-made food and not stand in the kitchen in the morning
I also stewed delicious ribs there, they turned out tastier than in the oven.
Everything depends on imagination. The only bad thing is that there is no deep frying basket.

Pavel Baykov about the MB-10741 model
Liked: It’s excellent, it’s worth taking, it doesn’t burn, if you put it on for adding time, you need to add water if you stew something and nothing burns, the yogurt cooks perfectly, they put it on a delay timer, everything was delicious in the morning, delicious rice with chicken, the kids are just drooling over it, ready all day long You can eat it, the soups are delicious, it holds the temperature for a long time.
Did not like: In programs, the set timer cannot be reduced, but this is not a problem
Conclusion: A multicooker for those who have imagination and experience in cooking)))

Liked: Easy to use, many programs, ceramic coating, even heating, removable valve,
Did not like: No recipe book, non-removable lid, bowl rotates
Conclusion: I bought it when my wife went on vacation. Cool stuff! She cooks herself, she soars herself. I didn’t even think that porridge could be so tasty. And fresh yoghurts are also a strong thing.

Mikhelson Vlad about the MB-10741 model
Liked: Ceramic coating of the bowl. Clear buttons. Availability of "cutters" included. Delayed start.
Did not like: No instructions. Short cord. Smells like plastic at first.
Conclusion: I ran the double-filled multicooker in the STEAMER mode twice. I was preparing soup. I put it on the soup and then for another 20 minutes. During this time the meat was cooked well, but it was a little tough. The lentils were not as soft as in a regular pan. Everyone liked the broth; it was rich. You need to experiment and try everything. In the stewing mode, the chicken breast with potatoes began to burn after 25 minutes, so you need to set the stewing time to the minimum and turn it off after 20 minutes (I mean the breast, I haven’t stewed other meat yet), you can’t reduce the stewing time, you can increase it. The smell and taste of this dish was excellent. I give it 4 stars because I can’t say more yet.

Jellied meat in a slow cooker

Multicooker Mayer & Boch - model MB-10741.

Jellied meat is a dish that most of us associate with the New Year. Why only Happy New Year? Because that’s when we prepare dishes that we usually don’t take on: more complex and interesting, and tasty. Jellied meat is one of these dishes.

However, today you can enjoy good jellied meat not only for the New Year - it can be prepared quickly and easily! And it will freeze perfectly without any gelatins. What's the secret? In products and utensils - method of preparation.

Box with multicooker - everything is tightly packed, ordered by mail.

Products for jellied meat can easily be purchased today in any meat department; This was a problem in Soviet times, but today there are no problems: we select the meat we need, soak it, and it is ready to prepare jellied meat. There are a great many recipes, look on our website for an interesting selection of good jellied meat recipes. And in this article we are not talking about recipes, but about HOW to prepare good jellied meat in the easiest way.

The secret, as you might guess by looking at the photographs in the article, is in the slow cooker. This is a unique device! He has long become a constant companion in many families. We were skeptical about this device. We bought it exclusively for jellied meat - specifically for preparing this dish. We read that jellied meat can be cooked in a slow cooker in a couple of hours, and it will harden. Selected inexpensive multicooker from Mayer & Boch- try it, it will work or not. Model: MV-10741.

A multicooker is one of the modern units that will help any housewife to always cook tasty and healthy, quickly and conveniently. The multicooker uses less fat and oil, food does not burn, and can be steamed. A multicooker gives modern housewives more opportunities and more free time.

That's all - put the bowl inside.

This is true: however, rice (despite the fact that our multicooker has a Rice program) is more pleasant when cooked on the stove. Soups, perhaps, are also more convenient to cook in a saucepan on the stove.

But when a multicooker is indispensable, it’s when you need to cook something for a long time. This is not only jellied meat, but also beets for vinaigrette and corn on the cob. It is convenient to cook potatoes and other vegetables. You can prepare a lot of special dishes using recipes from books (there are a lot of such books today) - cabbage rolls, solyanka, beef stew, and much, much more.

Additions to the device - spoons, measuring cup.

For the first jellied meat in a slow cooker, we bought a soup set with a bone (beef) and chicken - legs and wings. We decided to try cooking without pork - will it harden or not? Cooked with salt, carrots, and onions, as well as a handful of black peppercorns.

They cooked, however, not for an hour and a half, but for six. In our multicooker, the maximum time that can be set is 2 hours 55 minutes, we set it twice, for a total of 10 minutes to 6 hours. It was impossible to even pick up the meat after such cooking with tongs: it simply disintegrated. Sorting such meat into trays is pure joy! The bones were already floating separately.

We sorted the meat into trays, poured it with broth, and set it to harden. We poured it in the evening - in the morning it turned out that the jellied meat had frozen perfectly. It did not become as dense as it happens when you cook it on a pork leg (when you cut it into thin slices with a knife, and they hold their shape), but it froze well and was dense. So for those who don't like pork, this is a great option.

It turned out to be more convenient to cook meat in a slow cooker than in a saucepan: in 6 hours I didn’t have to add anything, the water didn’t evaporate, and the meat didn’t disintegrate after cooking on the stove. So, we think it’s quite possible to cook jellied meat in a couple of hours if you take pork. Great option.

Three 1.5 liter enamel trays for jellied meat.

The main thing is not to forget to prepare trays in addition to the multicooker, because without them you can’t prepare jellied meat either, no other container is suitable for freezing. We didn’t have trays at home; in the store we found only 1.5-liter, small enamel trays, so we ordered 3 pieces at once - just for a 5-liter multicooker. In fact, it would be possible to get by with two, because... We don’t fill the bowl to the full 5 liters. But it would be too close, 3 trays would be better. Those. for a multicooker with a 5-liter bowl, you need trays for 4-4.5 liters, then that will definitely be enough.

Since our multicooker has a ceramic bowl, silicone or wooden utensils are needed for stirring inside; it is not advisable to stir with metal legs. In the photo below in the gallery there is several such devices- wooden spatulas and a silicone spatula with a long handle (it is also good for pancakes, for Teflon frying pans, for which metal utensils are not suitable).

Meat spatulas and tongs.

Meat tongs are metal, so you need to carefully remove the meat from the ceramic bowl so as not to scratch the bowl. True, tongs also exist with Teflon coating.

This is all you need to prepare jellied meat without problems - and with a guaranteed good result. Most of this is already in any home, and if something is missing, you can buy it in addition.

Below in the gallery are detailed photographs of the multicooker, its instructions and recipe books. Several accessories were also included.

A multicooker is a universal device that can combine an oven, microwave, steamer, deep fryer, pressure cooker, yogurt maker, stove, as well as all the pans and pots at once.

If you think that this is simply impossible, then the Mayer Boch designers will readily dissuade you from this with the help of their new model of the Mayer Boch MV 10741 multicooker MV-10741.

At the same time, the quality of the materials used does not leave the slightest reason to worry about the reliability and quality of preparation.

Secondly, when choosing a multicooker, the functions that it is capable of performing are not unimportant. Thanks to a set of 10 built-in programs, it can easily cope with all the tasks assigned to it, be it frying, baking, boiling, stewing, steaming, simmering or reheating. All cooking programs are controlled by a special built-in microprocessor, which allows you to prepare the perfect dinner with a minimum amount of effort. An important feature of the Mayer Boch MB-10741 multicooker is the 3D distribution of heat, which significantly speeds up the cooking process. At the same time, the method of volumetric heating during the cooking process allows you to preserve the maximum of useful substances, i.e. food prepared in this multicooker will not only be delicious, but also healthy. A special valve for steam release does not allow useful substances to disappear, which, combined with a reliable hermetically sealed lid closure system, creates ideal conditions for cooking.

Separately, I would like to note the ceramic coating of the bowl, which allows you to use a minimum amount of oil and fat when preparing food that preserves the natural taste and aromatic properties. Conveniences also include the absolute unpretentiousness of the bowl, which can be washed in the dishwasher without fear and used for storing finished products.
