Nowadays, colored eggs not only decorate the festive Easter table. They are also given to friends, acquaintances and relatives throughout Easter week. According to the Orthodox custom of painting and painting, eggs need to be decorated on Maundy Thursday. Of all the known methods of painting and decorating eggs, we have chosen the most original and interesting ones.

Before you start painting the Easter egg, you need to paint it in any traditional way, of which there are quite a lot. They paint eggs in onion skins, food coloring, acrylic paints, fabric, green paint, beets, and so on.

Everyone has their own recipes and skills on how to paint eggs for Easter. There are conventional ways of decorating, and there are quite original ones.

Such an interesting decoration of the testicles is possible after coloring. We will paint in two ways: using food coloring and onion skins. In order for the eggs to turn out well and equally colored, they need to be washed well. Read about the method of painting with food coloring on the Easter set pack.

We will focus on the method of painting with onion peels:

  • We collect onion peels, the more peels, the darker the color.
  • Pour water into a bowl, add the husks, and cook for 40-45 minutes over low heat.
  • Cool the resulting paint and strain through a sieve.
  • Add 0.5 tablespoons of salt, 0.5 tbsp. spoons of vinegar, add eggs, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Take it out and dry it on a napkin.

We will get fabulously beautiful eggs if we decorate them with our own hands using wax.

To work you will need:

  1. Wax crayons (sold at a stationery store), paraffin candles.
  2. Copper wire and pencil.
  3. Metal spoon.

Take a piece of copper wire (copper retains temperature for a long time). Keep in mind that the tip of the wire should be similar to the head of a pin, it will be more convenient for drawing. If there is no copper, use a simple pin, needle, or crochet hook. We insert the metal into a pencil to create a convenient tool for drawing with wax.

Melt the wax for work: Place a small piece of chalk and a little candle wax in the middle of a tablespoon. Light a candle and hold a spoon over the flame. Can be replaced with a water bath. Heat to 65 degrees. The wax should not boil.

When the wax and crayon in the spoon heat up and melt, mix them thoroughly until smooth. We draw patterns with hot wax, apply strokes quickly so that the wax does not have time to harden. Stir the wax periodically.

The egg for decorating with wax should be at room temperature, not cold.

In order to better understand the painting technology, watch the video, it has a very clear master class:

This master class also involves wax painting, but the technology is slightly different: the egg is first painted and then boiled:

Easter eggs made from a material such as beads are a very beautiful and memorable gift for such a bright holiday as Easter. For this work we will need a wooden or simple blown egg. How to make the base:

To do this, use a sharp needle or awl to make two holes in the shell opposite each other and blow the contents into a cup. Cover the shell with 4-5 layers of white napkin, coating it with PVA glue. Let the product dry and you will have a great, durable base for decoration.

We will decorate our egg with simple, uncomplicated beading. Even a beginner can cope with the job.

To work you will need:

  1. Egg blank 6-8 cm high, 9-9.5 cm in diameter.
  2. Beads (Czech number 11 or Chinese), white, red, green, gold, blue.
  3. Beading needle.
  4. Nylon thread.
  5. Wax (rubbed thread is less tangled).

First we will weave a beaded belt, then weave the tops. Here is diagram 1 of weaving a belt. Rapport (basic, repeating element of the pattern) is repeated depending on the volume of the workpiece. For example, 4 times with a volume of 9 cm.

We secure the very first bead by threading a needle and nylon thread into it 3 times.

This is how beautiful it turns out:

Then, we connect the belt according to scheme 2, where the number 1 indicates the first bead in the belt:

You will get a belt like this:

Now our task is to weave the tops. It's better to start from the bottom. Diagram 3 clearly shows how this is done.

To prevent the belt from dangling on the workpiece, you need to make a row at the top and bottom.

We begin to braid the crown:

Let's see how to finish a row and where the needle comes out for the next one.

Here the top of the head should be reduced, two rows of gold beads should be collected, 2 beads each, and then only 1.

Finishing the bottom crown.

We do the top crown in the same way.

So the gift for Easter is ready.

You can decorate eggs for Easter using the decoupage technique. The work is not difficult, even a child can handle it. We will make decoupage using starch.

To work you will need:

  1. White boiled eggs.
  2. Brush.
  3. Napkins.
  4. Food starch.
  5. Food dyes.

We will need napkins with a small pattern, for example, with roses. You need to remove the 2 bottom layers of napkins and leave one with a pattern. We cut out the drawings not exactly along the contour, but with an allowance. You can cut it out, or you can just tear it with your hands, whichever you prefer.

Using a brush and water, distribute parts of the napkins over the surface of the workpiece. Try to ensure that all small wrinkles are smoothed out.

Make a paste from starch. You need to cook it in the same way as wallpaper paste. We don't need a lot of glue, take 3 teaspoons of starch (corn or potato) and half a glass of hot water. The water should be hot, but not boiling water, 80 degrees. Pour the starch into the water and mix well with a spoon so that there are no lumps. Let cool to room temperature. The paste is ready. Coat the eggs and wait until they dry.

After the testicles are dry, apply one last coat, adding food coloring to the paste. It is better to dry all this beauty on a wire rack. This decoration is safe, because we did not use any chemicals.

This is an interesting Rooster egg that you can knit with your own hands and give as a gift or decorate your Easter table.

To work you will need:

  1. A plastic egg from children's toys (put some small items inside for weight). If you don’t have a large container, take one from Kinder Surprise.
  2. Hook.
  3. 2 rhinestones for the eyes (you can use simple beads).
  4. A little yellow, red, green yarn.

We crochet 6 loops and connect them into a ring. Next, we knit in a circle, adding loops to the diameter we need, which is equal to our container.

Then we knit a circle. We knit to the middle of the container.

We tie our container, gradually decreasing the loops. We reduce the top of the head. Next, we knit a comb on the head. To do this, fasten the red thread and cast on 8 loops at the crown.

We mark the place of the cockerel's beak.

We marked the place of the cockerel's beak and use red thread to cast on several loops so that the circle is at least 1 cm in diameter. We knit in the round.

This collection contains master classes about that. how to create a blank for an Easter egg and how to decorate a souvenir Easter egg with decoupage, lace, braid, twine. threads, ribbons,

It is easy to decorate a souvenir egg simply with colored floss threads.

First, a photo of a master class on decorating Easter eggs with silk ribbons from Ada.

The souvenir egg stands on beads glued to it:

Decoration materials:

First, the workpiece must be wrapped with a narrow ribbon.

How to do it:

Secure the end of the piece of tape with a pin.

Using glue or pins, secure the decorative elements to the surface of the souvenir:

If it is not possible to buy such a blank, see the following master class HOW TO MAKE A BLANK FOR AN EASTER SOUVENIR IN THE FORM OF AN EGG from BOLGA1110

MK on how to quickly and inexpensively prepare eggs for further decoration.

Not everyone can buy ready-made wooden or plastic blanks. You can cover an egg with papier mache, writes the author of MK BOLGA1110. An empty eggshell is too fragile, but if you prepare it in this way, it becomes quite strong.

That's all we need. A viscose napkin, scissors and glue. It's more convenient to work with Titan glue. I pour it into a bottle of stationery PVA. In the photo with a blue cap. Very convenient! If we work with children, we use carpenter's PVA, it doesn't smell .

3. I simply pick out the shell with a knife. A large hole makes it easier to get rid of the contents.

4.And if the hole is too big, I seal it with a piece of masking tape.

I mark the middle. We don’t underline too much.

6. To do this, I cut out an oval on paper and put it on the egg.

7. Apply glue to the line.

8. Glue on the napkin. Try to avoid folds.

9. Cut carefully. The more carefully you cut, the more invisible the joint will be.

10. We do the same with the other half. And so several layers. I did two. You can do more. The more, the stronger. And you can decorate.

11. I glued the embroidery canvas on top of the napkin. Pay attention to the joint.

12. I pasted a napkin on top. The joint is not visible at all!!!

13. This is done in the same way, only the joint is closed with ribbon.

Decor with lace and twine

Decoupage on a napkin

If the workpiece is puttied and sanded, you can make a classic craquelure. And who knows the art of painting, you can paint it.

Another tutorial on decorating a gift egg for Easter by Lilia Egorova

We will need:

Preparing an egg from polystyrene foam (possibly from wood)

Wooden egg stand

2 prints with a flower (made on a laser printer)

Acrylic primer

Decoupage varnish

Glossy varnish

Varnish "Maymeri" 753-754

Assembly adhesive “Liquid nails” (transparent)

Sandpaper No. 240

Adhesive tape wide transparent

Dry pastel

White glass outline

Scissors, brushes, napkins, cotton swabs

Metallic gel pen

Screw (if the egg is made of foam)

We prime our foam blank with soil (I have “Sonnet”), coat it with varnish (I have “KIVA” here), dry it, and screw a screw into the “ass” of the egg (for convenience).

Let's prepare the printouts for work. Cut out 2 flowers

We place our fragments “face down” on a hard surface, stick tape on top (the fragments should be completely covered with tape), and intensively, with pressure, “smooth” the fragments with the handles of scissors. The tape should “stick” to the paper.

Then, very carefully, remove the tape from the top layer of paper. This way we will thin out our printout

We tear off the edges of the printout, giving it an oval shape.

Soak the printouts in water (5 minutes)

We choose a place on the egg for our printout, grease it with decoupage glue. We take the printout out of the water and glue it. Try not to have any folds on the flower itself. And we will remove the folds on the white background later. And also - don’t forget - your fingers must be wet so as not to rub off the paint. Coat the top of the print with varnish and dry with a hairdryer. Repeat everything with the 2nd print on the other side of the egg. After drying with a hairdryer, coat the entire egg with varnish.

While our egg is “resting”, let’s work on the stand. Let's sand it well

Prime it, dry it with a hairdryer (I always dry it only with warm air and at a decent distance from the object), coat it with varnish and send it to dry.

Let's go back to the egg again. Let's remove our folds using sandpaper (here No. 240), at the same time we'll walk a little along the edge of the printout to better align it with the surface of the egg. We coat it with varnish and dry it. Please note that the color of the printout and the background color of the egg are slightly different.

Therefore, we take a primer, a brush or a sponge (whichever is more convenient for you) and carefully paint over both our printout and the entire egg (in this way we even out the background color). Again we coat it with varnish and dry it well.

We take the Maymeri varnish 753 and apply it with a brush to our printout. Because I needed small cracks, so I dried it for 45 minutes. (We work only on one side of the egg)

After 45 minutes we apply Maymeri varnish 754 (I prefer to apply it with my finger). The layer is not thick (I remember about small cracks). Wait for the varnish to dry (become matte)

While our varnish is drying, we prepare the grout. We take dry pastel, white and black, and turn it into gray powder

The Maymeri 754 varnish has dried, cracks have (probably) appeared, and can be rubbed down.

We happily ran and washed off the 2nd layer of varnish along with the “dirt” under a stream of warm water. We waited until the remaining water on our egg dried and coated the mushroom with “KIVA” varnish (in general, we protect every step we take with varnish). The entire procedure with craquelure was repeated on the other side of the egg.

Here's what we got

We connect the egg to the stand using Liquid Nails assembly glue.

We have about 20 minutes while the glue hardens. We can calmly balance the egg. Let's leave our brainchild to stick for a couple of hours.

After making sure that the egg is firmly held on the stand, we will continue working with it. Using a metallic gel pen, outline the boundaries of the craquelure.

Let's get to the fun part - the decor! Here you can already give free rein to your imagination. We take a white outline on the glass and draw all sorts of curls right along our “gel border”. Let the contour dry and erase the gel contour with a cotton swab dipped in water (where it is visible).

Cover the excess craquelure with primer, dry it, varnish it, dry it and use your imagination!

This is the souvenir egg I got.

From time immemorial, the painted egg, being the main attribute of Easter, has been considered not only a symbol of faith, but also a souvenir that is usually presented as a gift to loved ones. On the eve of Easter, every believing family paints and decorates chicken eggs, and craftsmen make them from any available materials, creating small works of art. In England in the 17th-18th centuries, it was customary to cover souvenir Easter eggs with gold plating, and in Germany at the same time they were made of porcelain. In Rus', wood has always been considered the most accessible material, so it is not surprising that wooden Easter eggs have become part of our culture and history.

“Dream House” offers you to get acquainted with interesting ideas that will help you paint and decorate wooden eggs with your own hands, and also tell you some interesting history.

Wooden Easter eggs

Decorative wooden eggs for Easter: how it used to be

Several centuries ago, wooden eggs, decorated with intricate paintings, were considered masterpieces of lacquer miniatures. The craftsmen first gave the wood the desired shape, then carefully sanded it, applied a sketch, painted it with bright pigments, varnished it and dried the product in an oven. Most often, Christian symbols and faces of saints were applied to wooden eggs. However, these souvenirs were also often decorated with traditional patterns - Khokhloma painting, natural motifs, everyday scenes, etc. Today, antique Easter eggs made of wood can be seen in museums or their analogues can be bought in souvenir shops. But you can also make such an attractive and significant symbol of Christ’s Resurrection with your own hands.

Painting Easter eggs made of wood

Painting wooden eggs - from simple to complex

Making and painting a wooden egg is a very complex and lengthy process that requires certain skills and technical equipment. However, to make an Easter souvenir with your own hands, you don’t have to look for wood, cut it out and sand it, because today you can buy wooden egg blanks in almost every craft store. The surface of these products is already prepared for painting, so you only need to select the appropriate paints and brushes that will allow you to bring any artistic ideas and fantasies to life.

Wooden egg blank

So, how to paint a wooden egg for Easter? To begin with, experts recommend deciding on a pattern and drawing its outline onto the surface of the product with a simple pencil. If you do not have outstanding artistic abilities, choose the simplest ornaments that do not contain small intricate details. For example, this could be the emblem of Christ's Resurrection, images of vegetation or abstract symbols. After drawing the sketch, cover the product with light paint of a translucent texture or tinted varnish. The marked outlines will protrude through the surface of the material, allowing you to carefully decorate the design. The image itself is best applied using bright acrylic paints, which dry quickly and hardly flow. If your painting contains small details, use a regular toothpick or a sharpened match to apply them, not a brush. The finished drawing should dry well, after which it can be coated with furniture varnish, which will form a glossy transparent coating on the surface of the product.

How to decorate a wooden Easter egg

There is another interesting way that will allow you to turn a wooden egg into your personal work of art. To do this, add a regular candle to the standard decoration materials, the wax of which you will need. Paint the surface of the wooden piece with light-colored paint, applying it in an even, thin layer. When the paint is completely dry, mark the outline of your future drawing. If you are not sure that you can accurately reproduce the outline, prepare a paper template in advance and simply trace it. Next, light the candle and tilt it over the drawing. You need to make sure that the dripping wax covers the borders of the pattern. But don't be upset if the wax goes beyond the contours, because... it can be easily cleaned off with a toothpick. After that, take paint of a different tone and completely paint over the egg. When the paint dries, you can easily peel off the wax, which will result in a beautiful three-dimensional design appearing on the product.

Ideas for decorating wooden eggs

Wooden eggs for Easter can be decorated not only with painting, but also in other ways. Here are some interesting ideas:

1. Decoupage

To make an Easter egg using the technique, select napkins for decoupage and cut out suitable fragments from them. Next, paint the workpiece in one tone and, without waiting for it to dry, glue the prepared drawings to its surface. To ensure that the drawings stick well and look like a real painting, cover the product with a clear varnish.

2. Decorative threads

Easter eggs wrapped in threads look very original and unusual. To create such a souvenir, insert a thin needle into the central upper part of the product and wind the thread around it. Next, the surface of the egg needs to be smeared with glue on which the thread will be laid. To make the souvenir look truly beautiful and neat, the thread should be laid in turns, leaving no free spaces. Having reached the middle, move the needle from one end to the other, continuing to decorate the product with thread. If desired, the surface of the finished Easter egg can be decorated with beads, beads or ribbons.

3. Decoration with nail polish

Nail polish applies well to a wooden surface, so it can be used as a decoration for Easter eggs. Moreover, varnish brushes are very convenient for drawing patterns and ornaments. To make the design of a souvenir look truly expressive and bright, use varnishes of different textures - varnishes with glitter, mother-of-pearl, shimmer, craquelure effect, etc. This design can be complemented with rhinestones, miniature beads, shimmering sparkles, etc.

Easter is approaching, and it’s time to think about how to beautifully decorate the Easter table and what gifts to prepare for loved ones and friends. And an obligatory attribute of this holiday is colored eggs. Our review includes creative ways to make this Easter accessory unusual.

1. Space dust

First of all, you need to paint the eggs with dark purple or blue paint and let them dry well. Next, use a brush to spray glitter or white paint onto the painted eggs.

2. Intricate patterns

Wrap the eggs in old ties and boil them in water with vinegar.

3. Black and white decor

Use a regular black marker to paint your Easter eggs in an original way.

4. Dragon eggs

From thick metallic paper, cut out many identical “scales” and glue them to the shells of boiled eggs.

5. Play of colors

To get such an interesting color transition, boiled eggs should be placed in a container with dye, into which water should be gradually added.

6. Cartoon decor

Use food coloring to color the eggs so that one half is yellow and the other half is blue. When the paint is dry, start decorating. To decorate the eggs you will need eyes, thick black thread and a regular black marker.

7. Mosaic

Use broken eggshells to create unique Easter decorations.

8. Gold leaf

Using food coloring, color the eggs in your desired colors and let them dry thoroughly. Glue thin gold foil onto the painted eggs. Using a soft nail file to create a beautiful distressed effect.

9. Case

Skilled needlewomen can try knitting a lace cover for Easter eggs.

10. Sweet eggs

The eggs should be coated with a thin layer of PVA glue, and then thoroughly rolled in confectionery sprinkles.

11. Pencil drawings

First, you need to paint boiled eggs with watercolors or food coloring and dry the paints well. Next, using a soft pencil, you should decorate the eggs with simple drawings or patterns.

12. Bullfinches

Using paints you can turn Easter eggs into adorable bullfinches.

13. Application

Decorate the eggs with wonderful spring appliqués that can be made using colored corrugated paper and PVA glue.

14. Simple drawings

You can decorate eggs not only with paints or food coloring, but also with felt-tip pens.

15. Eggs in moss

To create such a composition, it is better to use blown eggs. Using tweezers, stick the moss onto the shell and decorate the composition with coarse rope.

16. Glitter

Another simple way to decorate eggs. Blown egg shells should be coated with a thin layer of glue and rolled in glitter.

17. Thread technique

For such an interesting decoration, it is better to use polystyrene foam eggs, since a regular shell will be too fragile for this. A needle is stuck into the “top” of the egg, and a thread is wound around it. To prevent the thread from slipping, the surface of the egg should be coated with textile glue.

18. Minimalism

Stylish decor that anyone can do.

Bright Easter - the resurrection of Christ, the time of sweet Easter cakes and colored eggs. It is believed that a donated Easter egg has the power of a talisman and protects its owners from evil deeds and thoughts, both their own and those of strangers. Easter egg-amulet was often made of wood. Those who were richer could afford malachite, turquoise or jasper. Well, the kings glorified Faberge eggs by ordering these precious masterpieces of jewelry for themselves and their family members.

Few people would dare to take a chance on the work of the great master; there are plenty of handicraftsmen, but it’s too expensive. Therefore, we take the most accessible materials and create an equally exclusive gift - do-it-yourself Easter eggs.

Here are master classes on how to make Easter eggs with your own hands with step-by-step photographs using a variety of techniques. Following our instructions, create your own unique gifts and inimitable souvenirs for Easter.

How to make eggs for Easter

What to give for Easter? Of course, an egg! But not simple, but magical red gold.

We will need:

  • Newspaper or magazine
  • A couple of relevant pictures
  • Threads
  • PVA glue
  • Napkins or soft paper towel
  • Lentils
  • Millet
  • Red gouache
  • Gold paint
  • Sequins, rhinestones, beads
  • Monolith type glue

Tools:

  • Tassels
  • Pencil
  • Felt pen in the main tone color
  • Scissors
  • Skewer

Let's get started:
1. We crumple a sheet of newspaper and give it the shape of an egg. We fix the workpiece with threads.

2. Coat the blank with PVA and paste it with pieces of a magazine page. Glue the pictures. Let the paper blank dry.

3. Tear the napkin and repeat the process of forming a paper crust. Torn edges are less noticeable; smooth them with a brush generously moistened with glue. We dry it again.

4. On a dry blank, make a sketch of the ornament, first with a pencil, then outline it with a felt-tip pen.

5. We “spun” paper ropes from a napkin cut into strips. It’s not scary if the paper tears while twisting the flagella; our ornament does not contain long curls and waves around the entire circumference.

6. Cover the workpiece with cereals and prepared flagella. An indispensable assistant to the brush here is a skewer. We don’t skimp on PVA glue; the grains should be coated very thickly, the excess will be absorbed into the paper. And again we send the product to dry.

7. We paint an Easter egg in the main tone, for us it is one of the shades of red, a color symbolizing health and wealth. We work with a brush, thoroughly painting under every grain and curl. Now the advisability of using a red felt-tip pen is completely justified; there are no white lyes.

Although in the paper art technique, which translates as paper plastic, it is customary to use dark or even black colors, in my opinion, this is unacceptable for Easter eggs.

8. Cover the dried gouache with varnish and highlight all the bulges with gold. Everyone chooses the intensity of gilding themselves.

9. Glue the decorative elements. The main thing here is not to overdo it, otherwise the Easter egg will turn into a Christmas tree toy.

If you still don’t have enough time for handmade souvenirs, go to the store to buy chicken eggs.

A blessed egg, painted with pigments contained, for example, in onion skins, can be safely stored until next Easter. Tested by personal experience, it stood on a shelf in a glass, did not deteriorate, only shrunk and became the size of a quail.

This jute design using decorative ribbons looks very beautiful and natural. By wrapping these eggs in gift wrapping, you can safely present them to all your friends, family and friends. Such a gift will remain with them for a long time and will decorate the Easter table every year.

To make such a souvenir you will need:

  • Foam base in the shape of an egg.
  • Jute twine.
  • Glue gun.
  • Decorative elements (decorative tape).

The end of the twine is attached with hot glue in the middle of the lower part of the workpiece.

You need to wait until the glue is well set and begin gluing the cord in a spiral around this starting point.

It is not necessary to apply glue to the entire surface of the egg. You can use no more than two or three dots of glue in one turn.

This way you need to wrap the entire Easter egg with twine.

Then you can start decorating. To do this, take three pieces of decorative tape.

Wrap one egg and secure with hot glue the junction of the tape and on the opposite side.

Glue the ends of the shorter piece on top of each other - this is the basis for the bow. Place the shortest one on the table with the wrong side up and glue its edges inward. This creates the core.

Wrap this strip around the middle of the bow and seal it at the back.

Attach a bow to the front of the egg.

The decorative Easter egg is ready.

Felt Easter bunny - egg cover

You can make this original egg cover with your own hands from felt.

Knitted Easter egg

In this tutorial I suggest crocheting an egg. This product will be an excellent souvenir for this bright holiday.

For knitting you will need:

  • Yarn “Children's Novelty” in blue, pink and green;
  • Hook 1.75 mm;
  • Scissors;
  • Needle;
  • Sintepon.

This egg can be knitted from any yarn. But it is not advisable to use something too thin. Then the finished product will turn out too small.

Let's start with 2 ch. Then we knit 8 sc into the 2nd loop from the hook. Then we knit 3 sc, and in the 4th loop 2 sc in a row. Then again 3 sc and again 2 sc in the loop.

We knit a new row. We will also add to it. We knit 4 sc, 1 per loop. And in the 5th loop we will tie 2 sc. We will repeat this until the end of this row.

We now have 12 loops per part. We continue to add. Now we will tie 2 sc, 1 each, into a loop. In the 3rd loop of the row we perform 2 sc at once. So we repeat the entire row.

In the next row we will first knit 3 sc, and in the 4th loop we will knit 2 sc. And so we knit the whole row.

We have 20 loops. In the next row we will simply knit 1 sc in each of the loops. That is, at the end of the row there should still be 20 loops left.

We continue to add to the new series. We knit 4 sc, then 2 sc in 1 loop. So we repeat the entire row.

There is no need to increase in the next row. Just work 1 sc in each loop.

In the new row we continue to make decreases. Now you need to knit 9 sc, and knit 10 and 11 loops together. This is how we knit the entire row.

We finish knitting. Therefore, we knit 1 sc, then 2 loops together. Next again, 1 stitch and 2 loops together. This is how we knit the entire row.

At this stage we fill the part with padding polyester.

Then, to close the part, we knit 2 loops together throughout the entire row until the hole is closed. We do 1 ch. Cut the thread and tighten it. We hide the tail inside the egg.

The Easter egg is ready. Let's knit decorative elements.

For the leaf, take a green thread. We need to cast on 7 loops. We knit 1 dc, then 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc. We knit everything 1 at a time in a separate loop. We will knit another hdc into the last loop. You need to knit 3 pieces of this kind.

For the flower, take a pink thread. We make a sliding loop. Make 3 ch, then knit 2 dc. Again ch 3 and 1 sl inside the loop.

We repeat this 4 more times to form 5 petals.

Tighten the sliding loop.

Sew the leaves to the bottom of the egg.

We sew the flower in the center, slightly extending onto the middle leaf.

This is what an Easter egg looks like! You can knit many of these products and decorate them in different ways.

Decorating an egg for Easter with a thermal label

Easter is a magical and holy holiday, filled with deep meaning and wonderful mood. Today I will teach you how to paint eggs for the holiday in an unusual way, namely, using a label.

Take medium-sized chicken eggs and boil them hard.

As soon as they are cooked, grab them one at a time with a slotted spoon.

We take stickers of different colors and designs and straighten them.

We put stickers on the eggs.

Place in boiling water and wait a few seconds (the main thing is that the shell does not crack from the temperature).

Carefully remove from the water and wait for it to cool completely.

Eggs decorated with thermal label for Easter

That's all, our eggs in a colorful wrapper are ready to be presented for Easter or placed on the holiday table. This method of decorating eggs will really appeal to those who honor traditions, but do not like to mess around with onion skins. Even small children can put on labels.

You can choose such stickers not only with Easter designs, but also with cartoon characters or beautiful landscapes. For girls, you can choose stickers with scenes from the cartoon “Cinderella,” and for boys, you can give an egg decorated with stickers in the style of Spider-Man.

Master class on making a souvenir egg for Easter from a light bulb with your own hands

Chickens are also a symbol of Easter. Therefore, you can make a souvenir that will be decorated with Easter chickens.

At the first stage you will need materials:

  1. Light bulb (you can use a burnt one).
  2. Light bulb holder (socket mounted on a piece of wood).
  3. Acetone.
  4. Cotton pad.
  5. A piece of sponge.
  6. White acrylic paint.

Stage 1.
1. Screw the light bulb into the socket.

2. Degrease the surface of the light bulb using acetone and a cotton pad.
3. Let the light bulb dry.
4. Then you need to make the base. To do this, dip the edge of the sponge into white paint and use point movements to walk across the surface of the light bulb.

5. Let the paint dry and apply a second layer of base.

After which you should give the light bulb a light yellow tint. To do this, mix yellow and white acrylic paints in the palette and use a sponge to paint the light bulb.

Stage 2.

The next step is to decorate the light bulb using the Decoupage method. To do this you need to prepare:
